“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23

We cannot be close to God while holding tightly to ourselves. True intimacy begins when we let go and surrender. In releasing control, we make room to experience God more deeply, more personally, and more fully in our lives.

Truly, surrendering may be difficult, yet it carries this security: God empowers us to walk in faithful obedience.

In a world full of distractions, may we choose what matters most — to sit at the feet of Jesus just like Mary.
While life keeps us busy like Martha, His presence is still the best place to be.

May we never be too occupied serving that we forget to spend time with the One we are serving.

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “IT IS FINISHED!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. —John 19:30 NKJV

Since we accepted Jesus into our lives, we are declared victorious not by our own strength, but because of what He finished on the cross.
Because of this, we are assured that in Christ, we are never defeated, no matter the trials we face.
