Mga Kinakailangan:
- Kabataang lalaki na may edad 17 taong gulang pababa
- Nakatanggap na ng Sakramento ng Binyag at Unang Komunyon

TINGNAN!

Ang mga sakristan mula sa Parokya ni Sta. Maria Euphrasia ay makikiisa sa pang Bikariyang pagdiriwang ng Ika- 100 Taon Kapistahan ng Kristong Hari. Ito ay nagpapaalala sa atin ng dangal at debosyon ng paglilingkod sa Panginoon. Ang pakikiisa nating ito ay sumasagisag sa ating sama-samang paglalakbay bilang isang sambayanang nagtitipon sa pananampalataya.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Ika-100 Taon ng Kapistahan ng Kristong Hari, inaanyayahan ang lahat ng parokyano at residente ng Batangas City na makibahagi sa prusisyon at mga gawaing pangliturhiya na gaganapin bukas ng hapon, Linggo, Nobyembre 23, 2025. Ang pagtitipon ay magsisimula sa Batangas Provincial Capitol at magpuprusisyon patungo sa Dambana ng Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Ang pagdiriwang ay naglalayon na muling buhayin ang diwa ng pamumunong nakaugat sa paglilingkod at mas pagyabungin ang pananampalataya sa ating Panginoon.

𝘿𝙄𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒?

“Let my prayer be directed as incense in Thy sight; the lifting of my hands, as an evening sacrifice” (Ps. 141:2).

The smoke clouds rising from the thurible are a useful reminder of God's transcendence. The fog obscures our eyesight, reminding us that even though God is among us, He is never intended for us to fully comprehend or see him. Our view is clouded and obscured by the smoke, which reminds us of where we are in God's hierarchy.

The usage of incense and its (ideally) pleasant scent serves as a reminder of God's goodness and beauty while we offer our prayers. The smoke is visible. We hear the embers crackling, maybe even the clink of the chain. Finally, but certainly not least, we hope and trust that our prayers "Rise like the smoke, to God." The Old and New Testaments both make reference to our prayers ascending like incense.
