Before we walk across the stage, we kneel in prayer. Last Friday (March 27, 2026), the Luakan National High School Annex family gathered for our Thanksgiving and Baccalaureate Mass. It is a beautiful time to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the years of growth, friendships, and lessons learned.

Every late-night study session and every hurdle overcome has led us to this moment. We offer all our success back to the One who made it all possible. ☝️

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are ready for what’s next. 🎓

11 𝗞𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁: "𝗞𝗮𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻. 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗔𝘀𝗮. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗮."

Kabataang DYMC, Kandilang Hindi Nauupos!

Itong larawan na ito ay kuha noong nakaraang Grand Rosary Rally, na kung saan nagpapakita na ang mga Kabataan ang pag-asa at nagdadala ng Grasya. Ipinapakita sa larawan na bawat kandilang hawak natin bilang mga kabataang DYMC, hindi lamang ito sumisimbolo ng Liwanag, kundi ito’y larawan ng ating sariling buhay. Tulad ng kandila, may mga pagkakataong tayo’y natutunaw sa pagod, nasusubok ng hangin ng problema, at tila pinapatay ng dilim ng pangamba. Ngunit hindi tayo basta nauupos. Patuloy tayong nagniningas dahil alam nating ang apoy na nasa atin ay hindi lamang atin, ito’y grasya ng Diyos na ipinagkatiwala sa ating mga puso.

Tayo ang kabataang hindi nawawalan ng pag-asa kahit ilang ulit madapa. Tayo ang patuloy na nangangarap hindi lamang para sa sarili kundi para maging biyaya rin sa kapwa. Sa bawat outreach, sa bawat dasal, sa bawat simpleng pagdamay sa iba, pinipili nating maging liwanag. Hindi man tayo perpekto, pinipili pa rin nating maglingkod. Hindi man madali ang daan, patuloy pa rin tayong naglalakad.

Ang kabataan ay Grasya dahil tayo ang paalala na ang Diyos ay patuloy na kumikilos sa bagong henerasyon. Ang kabataan ay pag-asa dahil sa bawat pangarap nating binubuo, may kinabukasang hinuhulma. At bilang mga miyembro ng DYMC, dala natin ang misyong maging kandilang hindi lamang nagbibigay-liwanag kundi nagpapaliyab din ng puso ng iba.

Sa ating mga kamay, ang kandila ay hindi lamang simbolo kundi pangako: hangga’t may isang pusong handang maniwala, may liwanag na hindi kailanman mawawala. At habang tayo’y patuloy na nangangarap at nagiging grasya sa kapwa, ang ating liwanag ay hindi lamang sisilay kundi patuloy na magniningning. Muli, ang “Kabataang DYMC ay ang Pag-asa na nagbibigay ng Grasya sa kapwa.”

💘 Saint of the Day: Saint Valentine

Today we remember a saint whose name floats through February like a handwritten love note sealed with courage. ✉️🔥

🌹 Who Was St. Valentine?

St. Valentine was a priest in Rome during the 3rd century under Emperor Claudius II. At that time, the emperor believed single men made better soldiers, so he banned marriages for young men. Valentine quietly disagreed. Quietly, but bravely.

He continued performing Christian marriages in secret. Imagine candlelit ceremonies whispered beneath the shadow of Roman law. Love, defying an empire.

When his actions were discovered, he was arrested and later executed around the year 269 AD.

🌟 Reflection

St. Valentine reminds us that love is not merely romance wrapped in roses. It is courage. It is sacrifice. It is choosing kindness when fear would be easier. In a world that can sometimes feel calculated like an equation, he solved for love.

St. Valentine became the patron saint of:

• 💍 Engaged couples
• 🕊️ Happy marriages
• 💌 Love letters

Spreading Christmas cheer beyond the campus!

DYMC of LNHS-ANNEX reached Dinalupihan Plaza with smiles, shared laughter, and simple gifts, giving toys and candies to random children and turning ordinary moments into joyful memories. 💝

Thank you to all DYMC members and officers for your time, effort and generous hearts. Your dedication and teamwork made this outreach meaningful and full of joy. 🥰
