Yesterday, we officially launched our July series, “Heart of Worship,” beginning with Week 1: “More Than A Song.” During the sermon, we were reminded that true worship is never just about music—it is about offering our hearts to God in spirit and in truth. 😌

We also celebrated our Beginner 2 School of Worship (S.O.W.) Recital, rejoicing in how God is raising up the next generation worshippers who desire to serve Him faithfully.

After sharing snacks and fellowship, we gathered once again for our S.O.W. class, where we learned that God is calling us to become a house of prayer and worship—to be worshippers first, and musicians second. We sought the Lord through songs and prayer and God’s presence filled the room in such a powerful way. It reminded us why we do everything we do. 🤍🙏🏻

At ABIDE, we believe that more than our programs, sermons, events, lifegroups or even our ministries, the greatest pursuit of the Church is the presence of God.

Our prayer is that He would truly make His dwelling place among us and that our church would always be known as a house of worship and prayer. 🔥

This is only Week 1, and we can’t wait to see what God will continue to do throughout this Heart of Worship series! ✨
