Ang Araw ng Ama ay isang araw na itinalaga upang ipagdiwang ang pagiging ama, kilalanin ang impluwensya ng mga ama sa ating mga tahanan at lipunan, at pagyamanin ang mga buklod ng ama.

Itinuro ni apostol Pablo na ang parangalan ang ama sa lupa ay hindi lamang isang utos kundi ang unang utos na, kapag sinunod, ay may pangako ng mga bagay na magiging maayos at mabubuhay nang matagal sa lupa. β€œIgalang mo ang iyong ama at inaβ€”na siyang unang utos na may pangakoβ€”upang ikabuti mo at upang ikaw ay magkaroon ng mahabang buhay sa lupa” (Mga Taga-Efeso 6:2-3). Sa liwanag ng mga talatang ito, at ng marami pang iba, tila lubos na nagpaparangal sa Diyos na ipagdiwang ang isang araw kung saan ang mga ama, ang bigay-Diyos na espirituwal na ulo ng pamilya, ay maaaring at dapat parangalan.

π‹πŽπ•π„ πŒπŽππ“π‡ πŽπ…π…πˆπ‚πˆπ€π‹π‹π˜ 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒.

Earlier today, GBC Young People Ministry conducted their Love Fellowship to conclude the Love Month 2023. Organized by the GBC Young People Officers, everyone had a great time in the said fellowship. The activity was attended by the young people and some of the young adults in the church. The program started with an opening prayer led by the GBC YP Auditor, Russ Palada Jr., followed by a Welcoming Remark given by the Young People President, Angel Joquino. Icebreaker and Singspiration was also conducted by the GBC YP Officers namely Anne Marie Portillo, Arbe Villanueva, and Mattheo Therenz Selisa.

After the short fun and games, the guest speakers, Mrs. Sheena Marquez and Mr. Gene Marquez shared their experiences and gave advice to the young people regarding LCM (also known as Love, Courtship, and Marriage). This portion of the program was moderated by Ms. Joy Romanillos and some of the Pastoral Staff of the church. The purpose of this is to guide the youth to better understanding about Love in a Christ-like way and give them more knowledge.

After the sharing and open forum, everyone had their Solidarity Meal. Foods were shared and stomachs went full. Big thanks to those who sponsored the foods and also to Tita Mahal Epistola for helping us decorate the church for this activity. Moreover, the officers gave out bookmarks to everyone who attended which served as souvenirs from the event. The fellowship was then concluded by a Closing Remark given by the Emcee and the GBC Young People Vice President, John Andrei Palada.

Praise God for this successful activity! May we all continue to gather for the Lord and celebrate his Love and Goodness to all of us. We are very thankful because as young as we are, we are already aware about these things. Thank you to the people who are guiding us to have a better Christian Life.

Even though Love Month is coming to an end, the fun continues!

In line with this, the Gardenville Baptist Church Young People Ministry will hold its Love Fellowship this coming Sunday, February 26, 2023, to celebrate Love Month prepared by the GBC Young People Officers.

We are inviting every youth to join us in this celebration because we have planned many enjoyable activities for everyone. Let's enjoy this fellowship and experience the Lord's love for us. πŸ’Ÿβœ¨

π™Žπ™π™‰π˜Ώπ˜Όπ™” 𝙒𝙀𝙇𝙇 π™Žπ™‹π™€π™‰π™

Laughter and hurrahs echoed in the church grounds as the Young People of Gardenville Baptist Church held their Kick-Off Party Fellowship earlier today, February 5, 2023. The said activity was prepared by the GBC YP Officers together with their Coordinator Mrs. Maria Theresa P. Selisa.

The fellowship started with an Opening Prayer led by the GBC YP Secretary Anne Marie Portillo. Introduction of Officers and Opening Remarks was then given by the Young People Adviser, Mrs. Maria Theresa P. Selisa. The youth was warmly welcomed with a message by the GBC YP President Angel JoquiΓ±o. Afterwards, Singspiration, Games, and Ice Breakers were conducted by the youth officers for everyone to enjoy. Aside from fun and games, Pastor Eddieboy Beltran shared the word of God and gave a message tackling the verse, Romans 12:1-2 teaching the youth how important it is to commit to the Lord.

After the short meditation, the youth then shared and munched on the foods that was sponsored by some of the Young Adults of the Church. Closing Prayer was lead by the GBC YP AUDITOR Russ P. Palada Jr. and Closing Remarks and some announcements regarding future activities was given by the Emcee and the GBC YP Vice President John Andrei Palada. The event ended fruitfully and everyone enjoyed today.

The Young People of GBC would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all people who made today's activity possible. To all the sponsor of the foods and snacks thank you so much, as well as to the ever-hardworking officers who laid their time and effort in conducting this activity. Above all, we would like to thank our Lord God for sustaining us today. The fellowship was intended for the Lord and we want to bring back all the Glory to Him.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godβ€”this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will isβ€”his good, pleasing and perfect will.
