A year may have passed, but he still lives with us

Today we commemorate the memory of our beloved Rev. Fr. Orlando “Pay” Gargar. As we celebrate his Death Anniversary.

Fr. Pay was assigned as Parish Priest at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish way back June 9, 2023 and today we commemorate his days and our experiences of him. His memories and legacy will live forever.

Eternal Rest grant upon Fr. Pay, Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

A Special Birthday Surprise: A Cross-Relic Visitation

In a heartwarming and extraordinary turn of events, a birthday celebration took an unexpected spiritual turn when a revered cross relic paid a visit to the birthday celebrant.
The relic, believed to be a fragment of the True Cross, was brought to the home of Ms. Lorna Guancia by their parish priest, Rev. Fr Chris Gonzales. As Fr. Chris carefully unveiled the relic in Nanay Lorna’s living room, a sense of awe and solemnity filled the air. For Nanay Lorna, who had always cherished her faith, this intimate encounter with such a sacred artifact was profoundly moving.

"Kanami sa feeling, ka overwhelming" Nanay Lorna happily expressed. "To have this chance nga ma bisita ka relic ang balay namun, is a testament to God's grace and the strength of our community."

Neighbors and fellow parishioners gathered around, joining in prayer and reflection as they witnessed this rare display of spiritual heritage. The relic, encased in a beautifully adorned container, served not only as a symbol of Christ's sacrifice but also as a reminder of the enduring bonds that unite the faithful.

Fr. Chris led a brief prayer, offering thanks for the opportunity to bring the relic into Nanay Lorna’s home and invoking blessings upon their family and the entire parish community. The atmosphere was one of reverence and gratitude, with each person present feeling touched by the presence of something so deeply sacred.

As the visitation concluded, Nanay Lorna’s embraced their guests with heartfelt appreciation, knowing that this moment would forever hold a special place in their hearts. Cross Relic Finds a Temporary Home

In a heartwarming gesture of faith and community, a cherished cross relic has found a temporary home in the residence of a devoted parishioner. The cross, a significant artifact from a local church, was recently placed in the house of Mrs. Marilyn Tan, a long-time member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish.

The decision to house the relic in Mrs. Tan’s home was made as part of a unique initiative by the parish to deepen the spiritual connection within the community. This initiative invites parishioners to host sacred items, fostering personal reflection and a greater appreciation of their religious heritage.

The cross will stay with the Tan family for a day before being moved to another parishioner's home. This rotation aims to strengthen the sense of unity and shared faith within the congregation, reminding all of the importance of community and devotion.

Sa malapit nga selebrasyon sang Kapiyestahan sang Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, ini nagsugod na sa paglibot sang imahen sang Santa Cruz sa tagsa sini ka mga Area nga nagsugod sa Villa Soledad Subdivision kaina sang Alas-4 sang hapon.

Naghiwat sang Santos nga Misa kag pagpahalok sang Santa Krus kag ginprosesyon ini sang mga pumuluyo padulong sa Patricia Homes Subdivision sa diin ginbaton ini sang mga pumuluyo kag ginsundan man sang Santos nga Misa.
