After a busy week, it can be easy to feel tired, distracted, or tempted to stay home. But gathering with the church is a gift—a time to step away from the noise and turn our hearts again to God.

Come ready to hear His Word.
Come ready to pray.
Come ready to sing.
Come ready to encourage and be encouraged by fellow believers.

We gather because Christ is worthy of our worship, and we continually need His grace.

Tonight, prepare your heart. Tomorrow, let us joyfully gather with God’s people and worship Him together. 🙏

Another school shooting. Another family grieving. Another campus reminded that the world is not as safe as we often think.

Today, we grieve with the students, families, teachers, and community affected by the tragedy at Ateneo de Zamboanga. And we pray—not only for Zamboanga, but for every campus across the Philippines. (Inquirer.net⁠)

But church, let this also awaken us.

We cannot wait for a tragedy before we start praying for our schools.

Pray for your classmates.
Pray for your teachers.
Pray for your professors.
Pray for the student who looks okay but is secretly falling apart.
Pray for the one who feels alone, rejected, angry, or hopeless.

And more than praying from a distance—
OPEN THE GOSPEL.

Bring Jesus to your campus.

Because the campus doesn’t only need better security.

It needs hope.
It needs healing.
It needs truth.
It needs Jesus.

“You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

Maybe God placed you in that school not just to graduate, but to be a light.

Don’t be ashamed to invite someone to church.
Don’t be afraid to pray with a friend.
Don’t ignore the lonely person beside you.
Don’t assume someone else will share Jesus.

Your campus is your mission field.

PRAY. REACH. DISCIPLE.

Before another crisis happens, let there already be believers on campus saying:

“You are not alone. Jesus loves you. There is hope. There is a way forward.”

Church, let’s pray for our campuses—and let’s bring the Gospel to them.

Praise God for the privilege of having a regular campus ministry in this school! We are blessed not only to minister to the high school students, but also to be given time to reach the college students regularly.

In a time when school violence is rampant, we believe these young lives need the hope and truth of God more than ever.

Knowing God, changing lives!

To Him be all the glory! 🙌

“I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back.”

Yesterday, we rejoiced as a husband and wife publicly declared their obedience to God through water baptism. It was a truly joyous moment to witness their faith and commitment to Christ.

We warmly welcome Bro. Jestoni and Sis. Julie Pacheco into our growing family at FBC. We are excited to see how God will continue to work in your lives and bless your family. Truly, we are more than joyful and grateful to share this journey of love and faith with you.

Do not neglect fellowship. A believer can grow cold slowly when he keeps walking alone. Stay near people who stir you toward truth, prayer, holiness and obedience and who will help you keep your heart awake before God. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
