Please let it be known that this is a SCAM. The APYCC is NOT AFFILIATED with these individuals and the council is NOT SOLICITING FUNDS for any church-related activity.

If you have received any of these communications, please reach out to us so we can take appropriate actions against these individuals.

WE ARE THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF GOD!
WE ARE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS!

Last April 23, 2022, the young people of the Parish of San Roque de Montpellier in Asturias, Cebu gathered to elect its new set of PYCC officers. This is in response and in full support to the new constitution of the archdiocese's Commission on Youth.

The young people composed of officers from the various mandated and chapel organizations elected the following new set of officers for 2022-2025:

We would like to thank Rev. Fr. Isidrito B. Ducao II, our parish priest and the Parish Pastoral Council led by Mr. Gerardo L. Cañizares, our PPC president, for their continued support to the endeavors of the youth ministry.

We would also like to specially thank the Electoral Committee, namely Mr. Nelvin Nemenzo, chairperson, Ms. Nicole Marie Tanjay, poll clerk, and Mr. Richard Abellana, secretary, for facilitating the smooth flow of the election. We also recognize Mr. Raul Rallos Jr., outgoing VYCC president, for witnessing the proceedings.

To the new set of PYCC officers, may your leadership and presence bring forth the light of Jesus so that the young people in the parish may experience the love and compassion of the Lord. May you become examples of genuine service and become authentic witnesses of the faith in the path of synodality!

Mao ni ang latest, mga bai!

March 5, 2022 — On the occasion of the 22nd beatification anniversary of our dear patron of the youth and katagilungsod San Pedro Calungsod, Asturias PYCC has successfully conducted its first general assembly for 2022 to have an echo orientation seminar on the newly-promulgated 2021 Constitution of the Archdiocese of Cebu Commission on Youth. This is in response to the directive of the COY that after the district orientation on this new constitution, the parish representatives should be able to share their insights to their co-young people in the parish.

The organizers and facilitators would like to thank the 70-strong youth leaders from the different chapels and mandated youth organizations of the parish who actively participated in the said assembly.

Continue to be inspired and empowered to do good for the greater glory of God!

Hi, mga bai!

We would like to officially announce two (2) very important activities that are slated for us this March 2022.

With the promulgation and implementation of the 2021 Constitution of the Commission on Youth here in our archdiocese, and with the recently concluded district orientation on the said new constitution, we are hereby directed to conduct an echo seminar regarding this matter here in our parish. With this, we are going to conduct a GENERAL ASSEMBLY & YOUTH ORIENTATION SEMINAR (YOS) on March 5 (Saturday), 1 pm, at our Parish Pastoral Center. We are calling on ALL OFFICERS of the barangay/chapel youth organizations, parish youth mandated organizations, and other related groups to participate in this important assembly in order to be acquainted with the new COY constitution.

After the orientation, our participation is directed to the conduct of the APYCC GENERAL ELECTION 2022 on March 27 (Sunday), 1 pm, still to be done at our Parish Pastoral Center. The election is OPEN to all officers of the various youth groups aforementioned above.

We look forward to your participation and support to these activities in our parish youth ministry. In the spirit of faith, charity, and hope, we pray that the young people, especially in Asturias, will rise to the challenge and be empowered to empower others.

In God's grace! 🙏🏻

A few more finishing touches and our new main retablo and altar will be ready for use.At the moment, the side altars and other sanctuary furnishings are already done.

We thank the Lord,the provider of all,for the graces we have received and for the guidance He has provided as our parish take this great endeavor of renovating our church's sanctuary.

has worked so hard to design and execute such beautiful retablos, altar, and sanctuary furnitures. We thank them for always being so understanding regarding our requests and for being flexible with their terms.

To date,we have paid 2.250 million to Vitreartus and this week,we will send in an additional 750,000 to make our partial payment a total of 3 million. From the overall cost of 4.566 million (which includes shipping), we have a remaining balance of 1.566 million to pay off.

This massive endeavor would not be realized without YOUR help. We thank those who have already shared their financial support to this project. And we thank in advance those who are still to share their blessings.

It is with this sense that our Parish Priests and the PPC and Chapel Coordinators have agreed to conduct another round of soliciting pledges. We aim to find benefactors who are willing to give monthly pledges for a duration of 6 months. A benefactor can choose to pledge monthly an amount of:

Php 1,000
Php 2,000
Php 5,000

Our chapel leaders and coordinators are commissioned to find prospective benefactors and knock into your generous hearts to help us raise the necessary funds, not only to pay the remaining balance of the sanctuary renovation, but to also shoulder additional projects such as a new altar flooring, installation of new doors, retrofitting of the roof, among others.

For those who are willing to make pledges or donations, you can approach your respective chapel coordinators,or you can directly connect with Ms. Louella Baliguat,our PPC treasurer, or visit our parish office and look for Ms. Emeleth Mendoza,our parish secretary.

This is just the start of making our parish church a better house of worship. With your continued support, we can ultimately make it a space that is worthy of the glory and splendor of God.

May this beautiful church be a manifestation of the unwavering Christian faith planted in Asturias 135 years ago,and a legacy we can pass on to the future generations. Let us make history and transform our church to become a fitting tribute to the celebration of the 500th Anniversary of Christianity in the Philippines!

OFFICIALLY UNVEILING OUR NEW PARISH ESCUDO DE ARMAS (COAT OF ARMS)

On the occasion of our 135th Patronal Fiesta Celebration, we bring to you this new emblem which bears the important symbols of our patron, San Roque de Montpellier, and the historic events related to our parish.

This is made possible through the artistry and craft of Bro. Kendrick Ivan B. Panganiban of DOMVS AVREA Ecclessiastical Designs. Thank you so much Bro. Kendrick for reaching out to us and for sharing your God-given talent. May God bless you further in your ministry!
