#𝐀𝐘𝐃𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐘𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐘! 🤘🏻

Youth Ministers from different parishes of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan gathered in faith and unity for the Archdiocesan Youth Day Launching 2026 held at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Parish, David, Mangaldan.

With hearts on fire, they embraced the call of the theme: “You also are my witness, because you have been with me.” (John 15:27). This gathering served as a powerful reminder that every young person is called to testify to Christ—not only in words, but through actions, service, and daily living.

May this moment ignite a deeper passion among the youth to boldly proclaim their faith and become true witnesses of His love in their communities. 🔥

#𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Archdiocesan Youth Council, together with the Vicariate Coordinators, actively participated in a coordination meeting with the Host Parish—the Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Parish Youth Ministry in David, Mangaldan—in preparation for the upcoming Archdiocesan Youth Day (AYD) Launching this April 12, 2026.

The meeting focused on finalizing plans, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring a meaningful and well-organized celebration for the youth of the Archdiocese. As one community, we move forward with enthusiasm and faith, ready to ignite the spirit of service, unity, and mission among the young people.

Tonight, we meet the reality that the youth are not always in the parish anymore, so we go where they are.

In campuses, youth organizations, and in every space they belong. We choose to listen, to understand, and to respond. Not with one fixed program, but with a mission that adapts. Because ministry is not a mold, it is a movement.

We build communities in their own settings. We carry Christ into their everyday lives. We create spaces where they can encounter God right where they are.

Ito ang matagal nang layunin ng youth ministry, na maging instrumento ng pag-asa, presensya, at misyon.
At saan man sila naroroon, doon tayo nagiging Simbahan! 🧡👣

𝓓𝓪𝔂 4 | 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 & 𝓢𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓱

Our final day at the Northern Luzon Youth Forum 2026 began with a moment of prayer and a simple but profound question: “𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝒢𝑜𝒹 𝓈𝑒𝓃𝒹𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓊𝓈 𝒶𝒻𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇𝓊𝓂?”

As we gathered for the Forum Synthesis, the youth of Northern Luzon came together to craft a shared 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, dreaming not only for ourselves but for the young people we are called to serve.

During the Closing Mass, presided over by Archbishop Ricardo Baccay, the Bishop-in-Charge for Northern Luzon Youth, we were reminded of our mission: “𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.” A call to become witnesses of Christ’s love in our families, parishes, and communities.

Through the Rite of Commissioning, we were sent forth, not just as participants of a forum, but as young missionary disciples ready to serve.

𝓓𝓪𝔂 3 | 𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰, 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓮𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰, 𝓓𝓮𝓬𝓲𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓣𝓸𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻

Day 3 of the Northern Luzon Youth Forum 2026 began with the Holy Mass, and a powerful reflection on the Cure of the Paralytic as an opening talk. In a time when illness was seen as punishment and those with infirmities were pushed to the margins, the paralytic’s deepest suffering was not only his condition—𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙.

Yet 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 who refused to give up on him. Their faith became the bridge that led to healing, not only of the body but of the soul.

This is the heart of synodality: 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. It reminds us that moving forward together requires more than dreams—it requires discernment, courage, and decisions that transform vision into action.

We were challenged to name the struggles we face, because what we cannot name, we cannot heal and tame. Listening deeply to one another becomes the path where the Spirit speaks and guides the Church forward.

𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓌𝑒 𝒹𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂, 𝒹𝒾𝓈𝒸𝑒𝓇𝓃, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒹𝑒𝒸𝒾𝒹𝑒 𝓉𝑜𝑔𝑒𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇, 𝓌𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝑔𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓀 𝑜𝓅𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 “𝓇𝑜𝑜𝒻” 𝑜𝒻 𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓁𝒾𝓂𝒾𝓉𝒶𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓈 𝓈𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝓈 𝓂𝒶𝓎 𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝓈𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝒢𝑜𝒹.

The day ended in joy with a Barrio Fiesta, celebrating the vibrant culture of Aparri and the beautiful diversity of the youth of Northern Luzon.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 | 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬

Day 2 of the Northern Luzon Youth Forum 2026 invited us to look deeper. Where? Into our roots, into our identity, and into our mission.

In a world that is more connected yet often more lonely, we were reminded of a simple truth that “𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚”. And wherever we are, that becomes our mission field.

Rooted first in family—the first school of faith—we are called to rise with courage and become missionary disciples. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵; 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Tonight, we end the day in our BECs, grateful for our foster families and for the warmth Aparri brings.

𝓓𝓪𝔂 1 | 𝓐𝓻𝓻𝓲𝓿𝓪𝓵 & 𝓒𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓑𝓾𝓲𝓵𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰

From arrival and registration to the Opening Eucharistic Celebration, the Youth Walk, and a night of welcome and fellowship. Day 1 of the Northern Luzon Youth Forum (NLYF 2026) reminded us why we are here.

With the theme “𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱, 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻,” we walk like the disciples on the road to Emmaus—our hearts burning as Christ meets us along the way.

From the first gathering in 1998, to 2007, and now 2026, the mission continues: to form young leaders who sustain the faith of other young people and remain resilient in ministry.
Tonight, we entrust ourselves to the care of our kind foster families. May we become instruments of Christ’s presence wherever we are sent.

Today’s preparatory activity and orientation for the Northern Luzon Youth Forum (NLYF 3) reminded us that this journey is not just about preparation, but about communion.

Different parishes, different gifts—yet we gather as one Archdiocese, united in faith, mission, and hope.

We are Called. We are Gathered. We are sent! ❤️🌱

FIRST ARCHDIOCESAN YOUTH COUNCIL MEETING WITH FR. EP.

We did not gather just to meet. We gathered to remember who we are.
As one Archdiocesan Youth Council, we came not simply to plan, but in the spirit of communio. Different parishes. Different realities. One mission.

We talked about formation programs and upcoming gatherings. We discussed plans, modules, assemblies, vigils. We dreamed about how to make them meaningful, not just well-attended.

We spoke honestly about the struggles: tired leaders, declining participation, rebuilding communities. We didn’t deny the challenges. But we also refused to call the young a lost cause. Because they are worth believing in.

“Unite all. Reach out. Expand your arms.”
This became more than a message — it became our decision.

Uuwi kaming walang sagot ang lahat, pero may dala kaming pag-asa. At bilang isa, muli kaming tumutugon ng “Oo.” ❤️🌱
