Gahap on his acceptance into the ASEAN Youth Advocates Network, serving under Project Development – Office of Programs. This milestone marks a significant chapter in his journey of leadership, service, and advocacy.

On November 04, 2025, In the wake of Typhoon Tino, members of the Catholic Student Nurses Association – SAC CHAPTER exemplified compassion and dedication as they actively volunteered in both field operations and the command center, working hand in hand with the community.

Honey Jane Centino, Volunteer from KABALIKAT was assigned to MDRRMO San Jose, Jerrex Zhai P. Gahap from JCI Antique Kruhay assigned in PDRRMO, Shim Chester Bachicha, from SK NAGDAYAO Council, and Pauline Bachitsa, community volunteer in San Jose.

United by faith and driven by service, these young nursing students stood on the frontlines—offering not just assistance, but also hope and courage to those affected.

Their selfless act reminds us that in times of calamity, true strength lies in solidarity and the unwavering spirit to serve others.

Every November 01, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints, a feast honoring the countless holy men and women who have faithfully followed Christ throughout history. It is a celebration of the triumph of grace and a reminder that sanctity is not reserved for a few, but is a calling for everyone.

📖 Facts & Trivia:

1. The tradition began in the 7th century, when Pope Boniface IV dedicated the Roman Pantheon to all martyrs and saints.

2. The term “saint” comes from the Latin Sanctus, meaning “holy” or “set apart.”

3. All Saints’ Day (November 1) is distinct from All Souls’ Day (November 2)—the first honors those already in heaven, while the latter prays for souls still journeying toward it.

4. It is recognized as a holy day of obligation in many countries, calling the faithful to attend Mass in honor of all the saints.

Let this day remind us that sainthood is not about perfection, but persistence in doing good and loving selflessly. Every act of kindness, every moment of forgiveness, and every silent prayer draws us closer to the same holiness the saints once lived. The Catholic Student Nurses Association of St. Anthony's College (CSNA - SAC) gathered for its first Rosary Prayer on the first day of the month.

Students from different year levels came together in a spirit of unity and devotion, offering prayers for healing and safety as our communities recently faced the challenges of nature’s force — from recent typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions.

United in devotion, the community turned to the Blessed Mother, seeking her intercession for safety, strength, and hope.

𝙊𝘾𝙏𝙊𝘽𝙀𝙍 𝙄𝙎 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙃𝙊𝙇𝙔 𝙍𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙍𝙔

October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary, a devotion that the Church has upheld for centuries as a powerful prayer of intercession and reflection on the life of Christ through the eyes of our Blessed Mother.

This tradition was strengthened by Pope Pius V after the victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, which was attributed to the faithful’s recitation of the Rosary.

As we honor this sacred devotion throughout the month, let us unite our prayers with Mary, asking her to lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. May each bead we pray bring peace to our hearts, healing to our communities, and hope to our world.

Our beloved nation is once again facing the wrath of nature through Typhoon Opong. Many families have been displaced, communities flooded, and lives disrupted. Even our nursing week activities have been postponed, but this will never break our spirit of faith, hope, and unity.

In these difficult times, we are reminded of our responsibility to care for one another as a community. Let us keep our fellow Filipinos in our prayers — the children, the elderly, the sick, and all those who are most vulnerable. May God’s protection cover them, and may they find comfort, safety, and strength in the midst of this storm.

We also lift up in prayer the rescuers, volunteers, and leaders who work tirelessly to save lives and bring relief. May the Lord guide their hands, strengthen their bodies, and protect them as they serve.

Though the winds and floods may test us, our spirit of coming together as one will always prevail. Let us unite in prayer, extend our helping hand in whatever way we can, and continue to be a source of light and hope for our communities.

Heavenly Father,
In this time of trial as our nation faces Typhoon Opong, we lift up to You our brothers and sisters whose lives have been disrupted. Watch over the children, the elderly, the sick, and all who are most vulnerable. Be their refuge in the storm, their shelter in the flood, and their strength in weakness.

Bless the rescuers, volunteers, and leaders who work tirelessly to protect and serve our people. Guide their hands, strengthen their spirits, and keep them safe.

Lord, calm our fears and fill our hearts with hope and compassion. Unite us as one community, ready to care, to serve, and to love. May Your light shine even in this darkness and lead us toward healing and peace.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. — Amen.
