The 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE VIRGEN DE LOS REMEDIOSโ€™ CANONICAL CORONATION

In pastoral consideration of the ongoing state of calamity in our province, characterized by changing weather conditions, severe floods in various areas of Pampanga, and unfavorable conditions impacting the ex*****on of our scheduled activities, the archdiocesan celebration for the 70th anniversary of the Virgen de los Remediosโ€™ canonical coronation will be held at the Repository Chapel of the Arzobispado de Pampanga on September 08, 2026.

Designated lay representatives are encouraged to attend in-person on the 3:00pm Mass inside the chapel, together with the members of the clergy. The Lay Faithful are welcome to join within the grounds, or to participate on the broadcast provided by the Archdiocesan Commission on Social Communications.

The number and designation of these representatives will be determined and coordinated by the Vicariate of Saint John Mary Vianney, the host vicariate.

More information will be shared in the next coming days.

Angelites, let us come together in prayer for our fellow Cabalens.

As Pampanga faces heavy rains and flooding brought by the Habagat, let us entrust our families, communities, and everyone affected into Godโ€™s loving care.

May He protect those in danger, strengthen those affected, and give hope to our province in these trying times.

Lord, hear our prayers.

Hi Angelites!

I hope everyone is safe and well, especially amid these terrible rains. Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families, particularly our brothers and sisters who have been affected by the flooding. We keep them in our prayers and hearts during this difficult time.

In light of the recent suspension of classes, the administration has decided to implement full face-to-face classes on the coming days. We understand that these circumstances have brought serious challenges to many of us not only because of the flooding and its effects, but also because we need to regain our focus on the things that require our attention, especially your academic responsibilities and studies.

After prayerful discernment, however, we have decided to continue with the planned visit to the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan (K*K). This time, we will do so in a spirit of prayerful silence. We have to let go of some of our prepared activities not to succumbed to despair but to give room to the Holy Spirit to speak to us.

Perhaps, in a way, these circumstances are also an invitation for us to slow down and rediscover the heart of what we are doing. The visit does not have to be marked by many activities. But our quiet presence, our prayers, and our willingness to stand in solidarity with those who are suffering can already become a meaningful expression of devotion.

As we prepare for the visit of the K*K, let us bring with us not only our presence but also the intentions of our brothers and sisters who are affected by the rains and flooding. Let us pray for their safety, for their families, and for those who are struggling to recover. May our silence become a prayer, our presence become a gesture of solidarity, and our visit become a simple reminder that no one has to face difficult moments alone.

Please continue to stay safe, Angelites. Let us take care of one another, pray for one another, and remain attentive to those who need our prayers and presence!

๐Œ๐Ž๐Œ๐„๐๐“๐’ ๐Ž๐… ๐†๐‘๐€๐‚๐„ | Cruzada of San Angelo and Mary Queen of Angels at GGN Building

Yesterday, August 26, the first Cruzada for this term was held bringing together the students of the Basic Education Department in an expression of faith and their devotion.

After the Holy Mass at the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angel, a solemn procession was held as the images of San Angelo and Mary Queen of Angels were brought to the GGN Building, formally welcoming the images into the Basic Education community.

The images will remain at the GGN Building until September 9, providing the community with an opportunity for prayer and devotion throughout their stay.

May this Cruzada continue to inspire us to deepen their faith and walk together in the presence of God.

Happy Clergy Day, Among Omar!

Today, as the Church celebrates the feast of Saint John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of priests, we also celebrate Clergy Day with hearts full of gratitude.

On this special day, we honor our beloved University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Omar Niรฑo Defensor, for your faithful service, compassionate leadership, and unwavering dedication to the Holy Angel University community. Through your ministry, you have led countless Angelites closer to Christ, reminding us that God's love is always present in every step of our journey.

Thank you for being a source of faith, hope, and encouragement to the HAU-CYM family and to the entire University. Your kindness, guidance, and joyful witness continue to inspire us to live our faith with sincerity and love.
