[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] The St. Rose of Lima Church was filled with prayer and devotion as the parish community gathered for the Eucharistic Celebration in honor of Our Lady of Salvacion.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Paul Rene P. Ocfemia and Rev. Fr. Antonio O. Bellen III, together with the various parish ministries, religious organizations, and parishioners. The celebration became a solemn encounter of faith, as the community gathered as one in worship and thanksgiving.

In this journey, the faithful were reminded that in the life of faith, no one walks alone. There is always One who comes to visit and draw near to His people. Like a mother who visits and stays close to her children, her maternal care is a comforting presence that strengthens and accompanies them, leading them ever closer to Jesus Christ. ๐Ÿ™

[ ๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ ] This Sunday, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Pentecost commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles.

Inspired by this spirit of faith and joy, the children of our parish continue their preparations for the upcoming 4th Grand Parish Flores de Maria and Santacruzan. As we celebrate the 11th day of Flores de Maria, their dedication beautifully reflects love and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

We warmly invite everyone to join this meaningful parish celebration on May 30, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] It is Pentecost Sundayโ€” the Birthday of the Catholic Church, a celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit who continues to renew and strengthen the life and mission of the faithful.

In the parish, the day was made more meaningful as the Lectors and Commentators, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and the Ministry of Greeters and Collectors gathered in prayerful renewal of their commitment to service. With gratitude and humility, they once again offered their โ€œyesโ€ to their respective ministries.

The celebration served as a gentle reminder that service in the Church is continually sustained by the Holy Spirit, who calls, renews, and sends His people forth in mission. ๐Ÿ™

[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] The Church was filled with thanksgiving this morning as the graduating class of San Jose Community College gathered for their Baccalaureate Mass.

Surrounded by their teachers, and friends, the graduates offered back to God the years of hard work, sacrifices, and perseverance that brought them to this milestone.

Rev. Fr. Paul Ocfemia commended the college for its recent achievements, especially for producing topnotchers who continue to bring pride and honor to the institution.

[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] The Youth Fest spirit is still quietly burning in the hearts of the youth participants. Following the visitation of the Venerated Image of Our Lady of Salvation, the parish youth lingered a little longer not just in place, but in presence with moments of fellowship, laughter, and genuine connection. โœจ

More than a closing gathering, it felt like a gentle pause where faith met friendship, and young hearts were reminded that they are never alone in the journey of service and discipleship.

As the Parish Youth Fest officially draws to a close, something deeper begins. The same young people now step forward as part of the Parish Youth Commissionโ€”carrying with them not only memories, but a quiet yet enduring call to mission: to serve, to lead, and to live their faith in the ordinariness of daily life.

[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] With prayers, hymns, and hearts filled with devotion, the Pilgrim Image was solemnly welcomed by the faithful upon its arrival at the Parish this morning. Devotees gathered in reverence, expressing their love and devotion to our dear Ina, whose presence continues to inspire faith and unity among her children.

Leading the prayerful reception were Rev. Fr. Paul Rene P. Ocfemia and Rev. Fr. Antonio O. Bellen, together with the community united in prayer and communion.

Indeed, moments such as this remind the Parish that our Patroness continually gathers her children closer to God through love, faith, and shared devotion as one community of faith.

[ ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š ] We were blessed to be among the participating parishes in the Regional Conference and Workshop for Social Communications Ministries, a gathering of Church communicators across the region.

The conference highlighted key concerns in Church communication today, including the impact of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity in ecclesial institutions, media literacy and disinformation, the ethical use of AI in ministry, and the strengthening of parish Social Communications teams.

Present were Archbishop Rex Andrew Alarcon and Mr. Edwin Lopez of the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Social Communications.

The gathering reaffirmed that social media ministry is not just about content creation, but a mission of truth, connection, and evangelization in the digital age.

We are grateful to Fr. Paul for his endorsement and support. โœจ๐Ÿ™

[ ๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ ] Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord โ€” a reminder of Christโ€™s promise to remain with His people through the Holy Spirit.

On this blessed occasion, 35 members of the Ministry of Altar Servers renewed their commitment to faithfully serve at the altar of the Lord.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Paul reminded them that serving at the altar is not merely a task, but a calling rooted in faith, reverence, and devotion.

The celebration also became a moment of joy and thanksgiving as two members of the ministry prepare to begin their journey as seminarians this coming school year.

Let us continue to pray for our altar servers and for all those responding to Godโ€™s call. โœจ
