Hi, Media friends!

We respectfully invite you to participate in the demonstration to be followed by a press conference that will be held on 31 May 2024, 8:00 (in front of Mania Central Post Office) to show the Deaf and
interpreting community's support for the FSL Unit of Commission on the Filipino Language (CFL) and the advocacy for FSL and language rights of the Deaf.

This demonstration is necessary to stop the inhumane act of Chairman Arthur P. Casanova and other newly appointed commissioners of CFL in removing and ousting all the Deaf personnel and staff of the FSL Unit for fighting for their right to receive their salaries promptly and timely. Furthermore, the FSL unit will cease to function, and the implementation of the RA 11106 will not be realized. Thus, depriving Deaf Filipinos of their language rights and violating the mandate of RA
7104.

I teach Deaf students to learn education, religion, and values so that human dignity can be protected and a healthy Deaf Community can be responsible for the future in life. Sir. Alter Tanate Taborete, a Deaf Catechist, is kind- hearted and helps teach Deaf students in special education at different places including (SNED) Special Needs Education School from 2023- 2024 Municipalities of Boratoc Nuevo, Guimbal, Tigbauan, Oton and Tubungan, Iloilo, Thank you so much - Deaf students hug and miss you.
