The morning session continues as youth leaders actively engage in deeper discussions and shared learnings during the DBCY Coordination Meeting & Team Building. Part 2 highlights the continuation of the C*C 2026 Orientation, further unpacking its vision, rationale, and planned activities, alongside meaningful exchanges during the presentation of vicariate updates.

This session strengthens coordination, fosters collaboration, and builds a clearer, unified direction as the Diocese of Butuan prepares its youth leaders for the CABUSTAMPRO Youth Congress 2026 and future diocesan youth initiatives.

Held today, February 7, 2026, at the Pastoral Center, San Isidro Labrador Parish, RTR, Agusan del Norte, the Diocese of Butuan Commission on Youth gathers 156 youth leaders for the DBCY Coordination Meeting & Team Building in preparation for the CABUSTAMPRO Youth Congress 2026. This activity aims to equip and prepare youth leaders for the upcoming congress and to serve as an avenue for fostering and forming new diocesan youth leaders—strengthening unity, leadership, and commitment in service to the Church.

𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟬𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Diocesan Altar Servers Coordinating Council, together with the different committees, successfully convened to discuss preparations for the upcoming Diocesan Altar Servers’ Gathering. The meeting focused on clarifying the functions of each committee, reviewing the budget proposal, and finalizing the program flow to ensure an organized and meaningful diocesan activity. The meeting was conducted at St. Niño Shrine, Libertad, Butuan City.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and generous accommodations provided by the altar servers of St. Niño Shrine, especially Earl Joshua Cimafranca and Clive Andree Guillera. Our sincere thanks as well to the parish priests, Rev. Fr. John Christian Young, Rev. Fr. Jone Kevin Bermudez, and Rev. Fr. Dominggo Maslog Jr., for their support and guidance.

Together, we continue to serve with unity, dedication, and faith.

A fruitful and grace-filled Diocesan Altar Servers Coordinating Council Meeting was successfully held as plans and budget for the 2026 Operations were prayerfully discussed and finalized.

Hosted by Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Libertad, Butuan City, under the leadership of Angelo Meres, Diocesan Vice President, the gathering brought together the Diocesan Altar Servers Coordinating Council Core Team for a meaningful general meeting.

Guided by the wisdom and pastoral direction of Rev. Fr. Francis Greg Salomon, Diocesan Altar Servers Director, and the leadership of James Paul Ong, Diocesan Altar Servers President, the council moved forward in unity, commitment, and service—strengthening our mission for the year 2026, Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

A meaningful beginning: the first Diocesan Altar Servers’ Council meeting held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Libertad, Butuan City, as we come together in faith and service to plan our pastoral journey for 2026.

Presided by our Diocesan Altar Servers' President, James Paul Ong. Together with all the Diocesan core councils and vacariate coordinators.

Through open dialogue, collaboration, and prayerful planning, the council strengthened its commitment to faithful service, leadership formation, and active participation in the life of the parish and the diocese.

| 𝐁𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃

Today, we contemplate the moment when Jesus enters the waters of the Jordan, humbling Himself in obedience and love. As He is baptized, the heavens open, the Spirit descends, and the voice of the Father proclaims: “This is my beloved Son.”

In this feast, Christ reveals Himself as the Servant-Messiah and sanctifies the waters of baptism, calling us to remember our own baptism. May we renew our commitment to live as beloved children of God, walking in faith, humility, and mission.
