🙏 Inspiration from Afalokai, Timor-Leste!
Seeing the first stones laid for a new church and Bible school reminds us that faith builds foundations — both spiritual and physical.

As we continue our own UPC Vanimo Building Fund Project, we stand in unity with our brothers and sisters across the Pacific who are also building in faith. 🌍🏗️

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our first Kofi na Piksa Nait last night on Friday, 25 October, 2025.

53 souls participated including youth, children, babies and adults.

Thank you to Pastor Koiwa and family for their prescence and support, our neighbours for the electricity supply, all those who purchased from the pop-up stall and shared hugs, smiles and kofi.

We appreciated being together and watching sermons from the church and learning the history from Mrs. Antonia Dru who projected sermons that were spirit-filled and challenged us to give praise and thanks.

Thank you to Anna and her team for coordinating the kitchen.

We truly appreciated your physical prescence and support.

The Kofi na Piksa Nait will be held every Friday evening for October to November 31, 2025 and we invite you to come in and support and build your spirit, get prayed over and feed your spirit.

Let's all continue to build in faith both physically and spiritually.

Lukim yu next week Friday from 7pm to 9pm wantok.

You can RSVP by emailing [email protected]

Yours in faith,

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Welcome to our building fund page for United Pentecostal Church (UPC) Vanimo - Building Fund Project created by the youth and women-led community of Warastone, Vanimo.

Our church was one of the first houses of worship in Vanimo at Peiwi and since relocating to Warastone, we are inviting you to be on our journey to build in faith a new building project to inspire hope, be a cornerstone of Vanimo and central community asset that not only sows the strong morals, character of Christianity to mould youth, families, marriages, elders and the hopeless.

Our project the building fund is more than a fundraiser, it is aimed to bring the community together to serve a purpose that benefits the community and the greater good, to create more spaces to serve our community, rebuild a official residence for Pastor Koiwa and his family so they can be encouraged to continue to serve the community away from their home province in their adopted province of Sandaun, build a permanent church hall to serve the community where youth activities and the congregation can not only have congregation but also build life skills, increase their knowledge using modern equipment, technology and create a space to facilitate trainings, events and activities for the community. To Build in Faith. To Build Our Faith. To have faith.

We are building in faith. Like Noah who built the Ark, King Solomon who built the temple, and the first disciples who built the first church community, we invite you to sow and build in faith. To build and nourish your own temple and to build the Lord's temple.

We have an event calendar coming up, pop-up market stalls, car wash activities, our Friday Kofi na Piksa Nait and others to be announced soon we want you to join our community and mission.
