This weekend marks the Adventist Community Services Emphasis Day, celebrated throughout the world by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Adventist women everywhere are joining together to observe this special day under the theme:
"Here Am I"
Here at Gordon Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church, we are also privileged to participate in this global program. As we gather in worship and service, may we be inspired to answer God's call with willing hearts, saying, "Here am I, send me" (Isaiah 6:8).
Let us unite in faith, compassion, and service to our community as we reflect Christ's love and share His hope with others.

Family life one week seminar was held across the general conference and we at Gordon Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church also took part in this series of studies on family life . The central Papua Conference Family Life Director, Pastor Bill Robinson, was our guest speaker, and we were privileged to learn from his presentation and gain valuable insights rooted in biblical principles. The seminar helped deepen our understanding of God's plan for families and provided practical guidance for strengthening our homes, relationships and spiritual lives.
one of the highlights of the program was a special interview session conducted by our family life leader Mr Wake , with several church leaders on the topic of family life. The session was both informative and engaging, filled with fun , laughter, and meaningful experiences that everyone enjoyed. it added a warm and memorable touch to the seminar while reinforcing important lessons about building strong christian families.

Lesson 9 highlights were captured during the Pathfinder Parents' Visitation Program and Worship Service, featuring fellowship, worship, learning, and active family participation.

The programs encouraged spiritual growth, strengthened family involvement, and promoted a deeper connection with God and the Pathfinder ministry. The Parents' Visitation Program also emphasized the importance of parental support and active engagement in the spiritual growth and development of young people.

These meaningful activities fostered unity among Pathfinders, parents, leaders, and church members while reinforcing Christian values and faith-based learning.

World Day of Prayer for Children at Risk
Theme: “God Calls and I Listen”

Today we unite in prayer for children around the world who are facing hardship, danger, neglect, abuse, poverty, sickness, and spiritual struggles. As God calls, may we listen with willing hearts to protect, guide, support, and show love to every child.

Children are precious gifts from God, and He calls each of us to be a voice of hope, care, and compassion in their lives. Let us pray that every child may grow in safety, wisdom, faith, and love under God’s protection.

“Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.”
1 Samuel 3:10

May this day remind us to listen to God’s call and stand together for the wellbeing of children everywhere.
