Today, 29th May, we celebrate 44 beautiful years of love, faith, sacrifice and commitment between two incredible people, our beloved spiritual parents.

Mum and Dad, your marriage is more than just a union; it is a testimony of God’s grace, faithfulness and unconditional love. Through every season of life, you both have stood hand in hand, serving God faithfully and opening your hearts to so many people. Your love for each other, your love for God, and your love for this nation have touched countless lives.

You have shown us what it means to build a home on prayer, humility, forgiveness and strength. Even through challenges, you remained united, trusting God every step of the way. Your lives continue to inspire us because you are not only parents to your own children, but spiritual parents and role models to many others.

Thank you for the sacrifices you made behind closed doors, for the prayers you prayed over your family, and for the love you continue to pour out so freely. Your big hearts, kindness and servant spirit are rare and beautiful gifts to this nation and to everyone blessed to know you.

44 years is not just a number, but it is 44 years of choosing each other daily, choosing faith daily, and choosing to serve God together faithfully.

May God continue to bless your union with good health, peace, joy and many more years together. May your love continue to shine brightly as an example to generations to come.

Happy 44th Wedding Anniversary Papa & Mama
We love and honor you both so much. ❤️

Tribute to Late Mrs Helen Uvisa

Today, with heavy hearts, we pay tribute to a truly special woman of God, our beloved Late Helen Uvisa.

For 34 faithful years, Late Helen Uvisa stood alongside her late husband, Miri Uvisa, serving the church with dedication, humility, and unwavering faith. In 1992, she was first introduced to our Senior Pastors at the UPNG MLT as Miri’s girlfriend. Not long after, she became his loving wife, and together they built a beautiful family blessed with three sons namely, Rodney, Lister, and Joshua, all of whom grew up within the church family.

Late Miri Uvisa faithfully served as our Music Director, handling the sound system and becoming one of the finest bassists of his time, gifted with remarkable raw talent. Beside him stood Helen, a strong pillar of support, grace, and service.

Helen fitted naturally into the church family and became one of the most loved and respected women in ministry. She faithfully served as Sunday School Superintendent, where countless children came to know and love her. Her warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and gentle spirit made every child feel special and welcomed. She had a calm and comforting presence that touched everyone around her.

She truly loved the Lord and was completely sold out for God. Helen was a woman of deep faith, commitment, and service. Whether leading Sunday School, organizing programs, or serving quietly behind the scenes, she carried herself with grace and excellence.

She was also one of the church’s finest Mistress of Ceremonies, confidently and beautifully leading many of our special events such as the :- Christmas Carols, Annual Thanksgiving Services, and Graduation Ceremonies for the School of the Holy Spirit Bible College. Her voice, leadership, smile, and joyful spirit became part of the heartbeat of our church gatherings.

Late Helen Uvisa was more than a church member; she was family to us all. Her life was a testimony of faithfulness, love, and service. She poured herself into the lives of others and leaves behind a legacy that will continue through the many people she touched.

Her passing is a great loss and a painful wound to the church family. The children of Sunday School will especially miss their beloved “Aunty H,” whose kindness and love shaped so many young hearts.

Though we mourn her absence, we thank God for the gift of her life. We celebrate a woman who finished her race faithfully and served God wholeheartedly until the very end.

Late Helen Uvisa will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured in our hearts.

“Her children arise and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

Rest well, faithful servant of God.

DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Pastor, Judith Waru, who went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Tuesday morning (28/04/26).

She was a powerful woman of God and a powerful worship leader who carried and ushered in the presence of God. Her life was a true reflection of faith, humility, and service. She touched many lives through her ministry, and her impact will never be forgotten.

Haus krai is now been held at her family residence located at Gerehu Stage 1 - Gahusi Street, Old Police Barracks, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.

We kindly ask family, friends, and the church community to keep her loved ones especially her Husband, three children and her parents in your prayers during this difficult time.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psalm 116:15

Our Youths joined the Inter Youth Wave on Saturday 20th of July for the 2024 IYW Wave Walk. The walk started at 6am in the morning at Salvation Army Church located at Boroko and saw the likes of Senior Pastors Peter & Carol Solomon, Pastor Gideon and Mothers to name a few who walked the entire route with our Youths, which ended with a big outreach at Kone Tigers oval at Waigani. There were stops in between the walk at 3 main locations, with the highlight being the Dance challenge at the second stop. It was great seeing our Youths practice what they were taught during the Evangelism Explosion Training as they handed out biscuits, juice, bible tracts and shared the message of salvation to the people around the Waigani Market area. Overall, youths and churches united, setting aside their names and titles, to stand together as one body in proclaiming the name of Jesus and reclaiming our city for God.
