💙 FATHER’S DAY SPECIAL SERVICE | HIGHLIGHTS 💙

Yesterday, we gathered at Boroko United Church for a special Father’s Day Service, followed by a wonderful time of celebration. 🙏🏽❤️

It was a special blessing to see the mothers lead the service, with Marama Lucy Boanere sharing a powerful message from 2 Timothy 1:6, reminding us that God has given each of us spiritual gifts and we are called to stir them up and use them for His glory.

✨ Every one of us has a gift.
✨ Every gift has a purpose.
✨ Every gift can bless and build the Church.

We also thank God for our fathers and the important role they play in our families, Church and community. May God continue to strengthen, guide and bless them.

🙏 Happy Father’s Day to all our fathers, grandfathers and father figures!

Here are some highlights from yesterday’s special service and celebration. 📸👇

To God be all the glory!

🙏 COMMUNION SERVICE | HIGHLIGHTS 🍞🍷

What a blessed time of worship, fellowship and communion as we gathered together yesterday at Boroko United Church.

During the service, Rev. Vai Boanere introduced our September Theme:

✨ “The Spirit Gives Gifts to Edify the Church”
📖 1 Corinthians 12:7–12

We are reminded that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given for the common good—to strengthen, encourage and build up the Body of Christ.

May we each discover, develop and faithfully use the gifts God has given us to serve His Church and glorify His name.

🙏 To God be the glory!

🇵🇬🙏 NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER & REPENTANCE 🙏🇵🇬

Today, Boroko United Church joins Papua New Guinea in prayer, repentance and seeking God’s mercy for our nation.

📖 “And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants.” — Leviticus 25:10

🌿 Theme: “Resetting PNG Today for a Better Tomorrow in Jesus Christ.”

Let us humble ourselves before God, pray for our leaders, families and communities, repent from our ways, and seek God’s healing and restoration for Papua New Guinea.

May this be a time to PRAY • REPENT • RESET • RESTORE.

🙏 Lord, have mercy on Papua New Guinea. Guide our nation into a better tomorrow in Jesus Christ.

🇵🇬 God bless Papua New Guinea!
