Happy God’s Sabbath,

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful people of God, and to our brothers and sisters from the Sister Church, who joined hands to clean the outside areas of our church. Your service reflects true reverence, reminding us that honoring God also means caring for His house in cleanliness and respect. Thank you to each one who made time available to participate in this important work. Your dedication and willingness to serve have created an environment that glorifies God and beautifully reflects the spirit of unity.

A special word of thanks goes to the Seventh Day Adventist Church members who gave their time and energy to clean the rooftop and inside of the church. Together, we have begun this year as a united team of believers under the love of Christ Jesus. Your commitment and teamwork ensured that our surroundings are neat, tidy, and welcoming. Truly, your efforts remind us that when we work together in love and fellowship, we build not only a clean environment but also a stronger, more vibrant church family.

With Thanks and Peace
Dear Family, Friends, Church Members, and Everyone Who Supported Us,

During this very sad time, we want to say a big THANK YOU for the love, prayers, and support you gave us during the mourning time (Haus Cry), funeral service, and burial of our dear Late Owen. Because of your kindness and God’s love, we were able to bring Owen home to his village, Kwikila, for his final resting place.

From the moment we started grieving until we said goodbye in Kwikila, your presence (in person or in prayer) gave us strength. Your comforting words, help, and shared faith showed us how connected we are as God’s family. Every song, prayer, and hug was a sign of love that lasts forever.

To the church family, leaders, and everyone who helped with the arrangements: Thank you for making sure Owen’s journey to his final resting place was done with care and respect. Your hard work showed Christ’s love, and we will always be grateful.

To everyone who traveled, gave donations, or prayed for us: Your support turned our sadness into moments of hope. Owen’s faith lives on in your hearts, and that brings us great peace.
May God bless you all richly. As Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you” (John 14:27). May His peace comfort you always.

With love and prayers,

Mr. Owen - Family Rep

Prioritizing Discipline and Ethics: Guiding Children to Better Decision-Making

In today's diverse and ever-changing world, children face a multitude of choices and influences. As parents and educators, our role is to equip them with the tools they need to navigate these complexities and make wise decisions. One effective approach is to instill discipline and ethics in children first, before allowing them the freedom to explore their choices.

Discipline provides children with the structure and self-control necessary for ethical behavior. When children learn to manage their impulses, respect boundaries, and understand the consequences of their actions, they develop a solid foundation for making sound decisions. This discipline isn't about strictness for its own sake, but about teaching children the importance of consistency, responsibility, and perseverance.

Ethics, on the other hand, gives children a moral compass. By teaching them values such as honesty, fairness, compassion, and respect, we help them develop a strong sense of right and wrong. When faced with difficult choices, children with a well-developed ethical framework are more likely to consider the impact of their decisions on themselves and others.

Once children have a firm grasp of discipline and ethics, they can begin to explore their choices with greater confidence and discernment. They'll be better equipped to evaluate opportunities, weigh potential outcomes, and make decisions that align with their values. This approach not only helps children avoid harmful choices but also empowers them to pursue paths that lead to personal growth and fulfillment.

Remember, our guidance and support are crucial throughout this process. By teaching discipline and ethics first, we give children the foundation they need to explore the world wisely and make decisions that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Scripture echoes this truth: "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Teaching children and instilling ethics and discipline in their early stage is more important than when they become adult.

Ellen White once shared, "Too much importance cannot be placed on the early training of children… The lessons they learn during the first seven years of life… have more to do with forming their character than all that they learn in future years." (Child Guidance, p. 193)

✨ Scripture echoes this truth: "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Children’s hearts are uniquely open to divine truths—they are “more susceptible to the teachings of the gospel” than adults (The Desire of Ages, p. 515).

🌱 As parents and mentors, we hold the sacred responsibility to fill their minds with God’s Word. Use simple stories, object lessons, and Bible verses to nurture their faith. Even the youngest hearts can grasp the love of Jesus!

🌟 Jesus Himself said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me… for of such is the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:14). He treasures them—and so should we.
