*MORNING WATCH* (3rd November 2025)
Topic: *Blessed Are the Persecuted*

Key Text: *Matthew 5:9–11*
SOP Reference: *Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 30*
1. _Jesus Acknowledges Suffering for Righteousness:_
- In the Beatitudes, Jesus assures us that those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake are truly blessed, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. This is a reminder that opposition for godly living is a badge of heavenly citizenship.
2. _Peacemakers Reflect God’s Nature:_
- “Blessed are the peacemakers” echoes God’s own mission through Christ. True disciples don’t stir division - they build bridges of peace and reconciliation, even in hostile environments.
3. _Persecution Is a Mark of True Discipleship:_
- Being mocked, insulted, or slandered for Christ’s sake is not a disgrace, but evidence of walking the narrow path. This persecution has always followed the prophets and faithful witnesses of God.
4. _The Spirit Strengthens in Trials:_
- Even when trials arise, the Holy Spirit strengthens the believer with joy and endurance. We are not left alone to face hostility; divine grace sustains our witness.
5. _Rejoicing in Suffering:_
- Paradoxically, we are called to rejoice in persecution. It is not the pain we rejoice in, but the eternal reward and the honor of standing with Christ in His suffering.
6. _SOP Insight – Faithful Amid Opposition:_
- “The children of God are not left alone and defenceless. Prayer moves the arm of Omnipotence… Persecution cannot harm those who keep their eyes on Jesus.” - EGW, Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 30.
7. _Modern Relevance_:
- In a culture that often opposes biblical values, the Christian who lives openly for Christ may be ridiculed or isolated. Yet, these moments test and refine faith, drawing the believer closer to Christ and pointing others to His light.
🔑 Key Takeaway Message:
_”Heaven honors those who stand firm for truth amid persecution.

Job 3:3,10-12,21
[3]“May the day perish on which I was born, And the night in which it was said, ‘A male child is conceived.’
[10]Because it did not shut up the doors of my mother’s womb, Nor hide sorrow from my eyes.
[11]“Why did I not die at birth? Why did I not perish when I came from the womb?
[12]Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breasts, that I should nurse?
[21]Who long for death, but it does not come, And search for it more than hidden treasures;
Jeremiah 1:5
[5]“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Mark 2:27-28
[27]And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
[28]Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
Luke 4:16
[16]So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

The Importance of House Churches Emphasized During 'Stories of Hope'
Day nine of the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session closed with an evening worship service hosted by Hope Channel International highlighting a story from an Ethiopian church.

This testimony is a part of the series Stories of Hope that shares powerful first-hand accounts of lives changed by the gospel.

A man named Zawude was forced to seek shelter when a powerful rain interrupted his walk home. In the home where he took shelter, he watched a Hope Channel program, and the words transformed his heart. From there, he was introduced to a Seventh-day Adventist church in his region.

Zenebu, the wife of Zawude, said, “We received this light, and even though we knew the gospel, I was so happy with what we learned from what he [Zawude] watched.”

The story highlighted the need for church plants or home churches in countries such as Ethiopia, where languages and cultures are numerous.

“I was very surprised we got this light and didn’t understand it [before]. I was so happy with what he informed me of that he watched, even though we knew the gospel before.”

Before this testimony was shown, Debleaire Snell, speaker/director of the Breath of Life television ministry in the North America Division, spoke on the power of being a witness.

“The witness helps the jury to decide,” Snell said. “In order to be a witness for Jesus, all you need to have is a testimony.”

A testimony, he explained, is simply sharing your experience with Jesus as a way to help another person.

“We are all witnesses tonight to the power of God,” Snell said. “Let's not be ‘sad-ventists,’ let’s be ‘glad-ventists.’ ”

Evening worship takes place each night of the GC Session at 7 p.m. inside the arena. Tomorrow’s evening worship to open the Sabbath will be held by the Ellen G. White Estate.

Be aware of the disease called Monkeypox now
And why is this happening and reaching people including Children,

The Bible is proof that all sickness or sickness that comes to the world is in the Bible .

And the chief hunter went with his bowl and his vessel upon the ground, and then there were ugly and ugly skulls running among those bearing the mark of the fierce beast and worshipped his image.
Revelation 16:2📖

Now is the Time to Come to the Lord (ISAIAH 1:18-20) and repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Spirit (Acts 2:36-38. ) (MATTHEW 1:21-23)

And serve the Lord in truth. For those who are faithful to him will not forsake him even when there are tragedies in the world. (Psalm 91:1-7)
Thou shalt not partake in his wrath against those who oppose him and depend on them

Mobile phone addiction affects mental health by increasing anxiety, stress, and depression. Constant notifications and screen time disrupt sleep and concentration. It reduces real-life social interactions, leading to loneliness and low self-esteem. Overuse also contributes to attention problems, emotional instability, and dependency, ultimately harming overall psychological well-being and mental balance.

Let's draw close to God and read some words. Hope they'll bring you peace.
God says,❤️🧡 *“If you can dedicate one or two hours each day to true spiritual life, then your life that day will feel enriched and your heart will be bright and clear. If you live this kind of spiritual life every day, then your heart will be able to return more into God’s possession, your spirit will become stronger and stronger, your condition will constantly improve, you will become more capable of walking the path on which the Holy Spirit leads, and God will bestow increased blessings upon you. The purpose of your spiritual life is consciously to gain the presence of the Holy Spirit. It is not to observe rules or conduct religious rituals, but truly to act in concert with God, truly to discipline your body—this is what man should do, so you should do this with the utmost effort. The better your cooperation and the more effort you commit, the more your heart will be able to return to God and the better you will be able to quiet your heart before Him. At a certain point, God will gain your heart completely. No one will be able to sway or capture your heart, and you will belong completely to God. If you walk this path, then God’s word will reveal itself to you at all times and enlighten you about everything that you do not understand—this can all be achieved through your cooperation. This is why God always says, “All who act in concert with Me, I will reward twice over.” You must see this path clearly.”* ❤️🧡
