JOB VACANCY: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated, high-achieving Recent Graduate to join our accounts team. This role is specifically designed for individuals with a strong academic background in Accounting who are eager to kickstart their professional career. No prior work experience is required, as the successful candidate will receive comprehensive, hands-on training in Xero Accounting Software and Smooth Pay goPayroll as a bonus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assisting with daily data entry and bank reconciliations using Xero.
2. Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports.
3. Maintaining accurate digital filing systems and records.
4. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions.
5. Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
1. EDUCATION: A recently completed Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business Studies, or Commerce from a recognized University or College.
2. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE: A solid academic record (Transcripts must be provided).
3. TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Fundamental understanding of the accounting cycle (Debits/Credits).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Documentation: A valid Police Clearance and a copy of your National ID or Passport.
