NEED YOUR PRAYERS FOR GOD'S INTERVENTION

HORRIBLE INCIDENT AT KAIPALE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH -SURINKI, LAIGAM DISTRICT, ENGA PROVINCE

A tribal fight that broke out near Surunki in Laigam District has resulted in the burning of the church pastor's house, with personal properties, evangelism equipment, and other valuable items worth thousands of Kina destroyed.

The conflict erupted between Paip, Panap, and Wapam clans against the Warin clan. Due to the escalating ethnic confrontation, the pastor of Kaipale Organized Church, Minister Noah Yapao, was forced to flee with his family to Laigam Station at the District Headquarters, leaving all his belongings behind.

As the fighting intensified, warriors set fire to the pastor's house and kitchen, burning everything to ashes. They also attempted to burn the church building, but faithful church members bravely intervened and extinguished the flames, saving the church.

Minister Yapao lamented, “All my household items, including my evangelistic equipment, were burned by the warriors and opportunists.”

Satan is more aggressive now than ever like a roaring lion and a venomous viper. Let us uphold Minister Noah Yapao and his family in prayer as they have lost everything, and let us pray for our church members in Kaipale, that God's grace and peace will prevail over violence.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ghana has offered to help the government complete and operate selected hospitals under Agenda 111, Ghana’s national hospital construction program, according to Modern Ghana and several other Ghanaian news outlets.

A delegation from Ghana Adventist Health Services (GAHS), led by director James Antwi, met Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh on August 10, 2026, and proposed involvement in four areas: trauma care, holistic wellness, cancer treatment, and rehabilitation, with an emphasis on underserved communities.

The Adventist Church already operates a substantial healthcare network in Ghana.

The Inter-American Adventist Theological Seminary marked a milestone in Adventist education on July 25 when it graduated the second cohort of nine leaders from its Doctor of Ministry in Chaplaincy program during commencement exercises at Montemorelos University in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico.

A joyful celebration unfolded today at Sogavare Memorial SDA Church in Port Moresby, where 14 souls went into the waters of baptism following a six-day Stewardship Revival Meeting.

Responding to God's appeal, 25 precious souls also commited to get baptised in future.

The revival meeting was conducted by church pastor Minister Paul Mekeria under the theme, “Celebrating the Joys of Stewardship.”

The baptism marked a significant spiritual milestone for the 14 new members plus 25 plus orher souls as they publicly committed their lives to Christ.

The key text for the revival was Matthew 25:21:

“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness.”

Congratulations to the 14 newly baptised members. May their walk with Christ continue to grow in faith, service and stewardship. 🙏🏽❤️

🌿 The Bautama Mangrove Educational Boardwalk was officially opened last month through a partnership between the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Papua New Guinea and The Nature Conservancy.
🌿 The project brings together the church, traditional landowners, local communities, government agencies, conservation organisations and development partners in a shared effort to protect the country’s unique mangrove environment while promoting education, recreation and community engagement.
🌿 The 27-hectare Bautama mangrove site provides important benefits, including supporting marine life, strengthening food security, protecting coastlines and storing carbon.
🌿 “A mangrove forest is unique and incredibly important, and it is remarkable that it exists so close to Port Moresby,” said The Nature Conservancy representative Will McGoldrick.

BUSH MISSIONARY WIFE: MONA KORE
Missionary Wife!
Mona Kore hails from Nabne in the Pangia District, Southern Highlands Province. She was raised in the Assembly of God (AOG) church before God led her to the Seventh-day Adventist faith.
With a heart on fire for missions, she married Minister Paul Waion while he was serving as a missionary in the remote Elem region — at the tri-border of Enga, East Sepik, and Madang Provinces.
For years they were known as "walking missionaries."
Barefoot. With a baby on her back. Mona followed her husband across fast-flowing rivers and over mountains for 3 to 5 days at a time, just to bring the good news to God’s people. From Elem, they were transferred to the jungles of Maramuni, on the border of Enga and West Sepik.
After only 2 months of settling in, tribal fighting broke out.
Mona and Paul had to flee for their lives. The warlords ransacked their home and took everything — leaving only the Bible.
But the call of God was stronger than fear. With faith, Mona followed her husband again and walked 2 days barefoot through the jungle to their new mission post: Yalum SDA Church, near the East Sepik border.
On the journey, Mona felt illed and grew weak from hunger and fatigue in the middle of the bush. Paul Waion prayed, “Lord, it is good to die in the mission field, for we can be buried here for Your sake.”
By God’s grace, they reached Yalum at 10:00 pm that night.
The local people gave Mona a cucumber to eat — and she was instantly refreshed and healed miraculously.
Paul later testified: “While serving God in the jungles we were often sick. But Jesus, the Great Physician, healed us. Even our 4-year-old child never got seriously ill.” Paul says he is truly blessed with a wife who has a great desire for the mission of the Lord.
Mona is just one of many missionary wives across our province and throughout PNG. They walk, they sacrifice, they suffer — and they serve side by side.

More than 90 young Adventists, including university students and young leaders from southern Chile, took part in a community service day in Valdivia on July 11, 2026, as part of a new edition of the School of Mission in Action, an initiative of the Adventist Volunteer Service (AVS) in the South American Division.

Volunteers distributed food and Christian literature, cleaned public spaces, and organized recreational activities for children, families, and passersby across several neighborhoods.

📍Morobe Wau Waria & Bulolo (WABU) District

What a blessed week of revival and mission! For one week, Morobe Mission President Pr. Enosh Enopa led a powerful series of meetings, strengthening the faith of members and inspiring them to continue God's work.

On Sabbath, we were honored to welcome South Pacific Division President, Pr. Glen Townend, who traveled to Wau waria to share an uplifting message, reminding us that our mission is clear: we must continue to witness to the world until Jesus comes.

The highlight of the Sabbath was a joyful baptism, where 14 precious souls publicly committed their lives to Christ. The baptism was conducted by four dedicated pastors:
Pr. Danny Philip – PNG Union Mission President, Pr. Enoch Kitum, Pr. James Dirye, Pr. Koe Nahe

To God be all the glory for transformed lives and the continued growth of His church. May these new believers remain faithful as we all unite in sharing the everlasting gospel.

AWR Presence in Jiwaka Province. Banz Organize Church had the Honour of Murukumb Branch Church Dedication and Opening program which was a Church of Christ (COC) Sunday Denominational congregation that was handed over to Seventh Day Adventist Church by the Sunday Pastor Steven in year 2024.
Upon hearing this powerful testimony the (AWR) ADVENTIST WORLD RADIO during PNG4CHRIST in 2024 funded the church project with K40, 000.00.
Today 16.07.26 - Under the Leadership of Church Pastor- Pastor Inia Yari - Dated 12th -19th July 2026 We are so honored this week to have our GUEST SPEAKER PASTOR ROBERT DULAY AND WHM PRESIDENT PASTOR ANDREW OPIS to become our Guests of Honour for the Grand Opening and Church Dedication Program.
Banz Organize Church AYM did a Special Welcome Reception on Thursday 16.07.26 by crowning our Guests and again on Friday 17th July 2026 Pastor Robert Dulay and WHM PRESIDENT PASTOR ANDREW OPIS OFFICIALLY OPENING THE MURUKUMB CHURCH AND FOLLOWED BY THE CHURCH DEDICATION PROGRAM which was a HIGHLIGHT in Jiwaka Province and the Western Highkands Mission as a whole.
Pastor Robert Dulay will continue to highlight the event in the Adventist World Radio to be Broadcasted all over the world. - Fulfilling the three Angles messages - GOSPEL COMMISION - the Command of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18 -20 'GO YE IN TO ALL THE WORLD' and then shall the END COME.
On behalf of the WH-MISSION the President Pastor Andrew Opis Officially Appreciated the Support of AWR PRESENCE and COMMITMENT done through Pastor Robert Dulay and we look forward again for the next program after visiting again a LUTHERAN Church to be given over to the Adventist Church again.
