It is with deep sadness that we have learned of the passing of another great pillar of the COC movement, Late Assistant Pastor Jacob Isreal Oresi.

Late Assistant Pastor Jacob faithfully served alongside Pastor James Kera at New Beginning COC Church, dedicating his life to the work of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. His faithful service, humility, and commitment to the Gospel will always be remembered.

To all of us here in Port Moresby, let us stand together in love and unity with the New Beginning COC Church and the immediate family during this time of sorrow. Let us uphold them in our prayers, encourage them with our presence, and support them as they mourn the loss of a beloved servant of God.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Pastor James Kera, the New Beginning COC Church family, and the bereaved family of Late Assistant Pastor Jacob Isreal Oresi.

🙏🔥 PACIFIC PASTORS & LEADERS CONFERENCE 2026 🔥🙏

Our Pacific Pastors and Leaders Conference concluded successfully last night with presentations, fellowship, and light refreshments shared among the delegates and guests.

The conference was truly Spirit-filled, powerful, uplifting, and life-transforming as spiritual authorities, pastors, leaders, and ministers gathered together from across Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Islands, and Australia in unity, prayer, worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Throughout the conference, the presence of God moved mightily, bringing encouragement, revival, fresh vision, spiritual empowerment, and deeper unity among the body of Christ. Powerful messages, prayers, and teachings have impacted many lives and strengthened leaders for greater service in God’s Kingdom.

This gathering was not just a conference, but a divine appointment where hearts were refreshed, faith was renewed, and relationships were strengthened across nations and churches.

We thank God for His guidance, protection, and mighty presence throughout the entire program. Special appreciation to all the pastors, leaders, organizers, worship teams, and every participant who contributed to making this conference a successful and memorable event.

May the fire of revival continue to spread throughout Papua New Guinea, the Pacific, and beyond.

🔥🙏 PRAYING & FASTING CONFERENCE 2026 🙏🔥

Our powerful Pacific Praying & Fasting Conference commenced yesterday with a mighty move of God, and this morning’s Prayer Service is being led by Ps Mathew Roni National President COC-PNG.

The presence of God is already moving strongly among His people as pastors, leaders, and believers gather together in unity for prayer, fasting, revival, and spiritual empowerment. This is truly a special moment for the body of Christ in Papua New Guinea and across the Pacific.

We believe this conference will bring fresh fire, renewed strength, healing, breakthroughs, and deeper intimacy with God for this generation.

Today marks the powerful and successful opening of the Pacific Pastors & Leaders Prayer & Fasting Conference here at Jawani Street Christian Outreach Centre (COC) Church, Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. 🇵🇬

We are truly honored and blessed to welcome all our great men and women of God, pastors, leaders, and delegates from across the Pacific and abroad who have gathered together in unity, prayer, fasting, worship, and the Word of God.

The atmosphere is already filled with the presence, power, and glory of God as leaders unite with one heart, one spirit, and one vision for revival, transformation, and awakening across the nations of the Pacific.

Today’s powerful sermon by Mathew Roni, Senior Pastor of Trumpet Church and National President of Christian Outreach Church PNG, was centered on the story of Martha and Mary in Gospel of Luke 10:38–41.

The message revealed a deep truth: Martha and Mary represent two types of churches we see today.
One church is built firmly upon the Word of God, growing spiritually, feeding daily on fresh revelation, and building a strong relationship with God through active spiritual engagement.
The other is focused more on flesh and material things, often neglecting true spiritual growth and intimacy with God.
Just like Mary, who sat at the feet of Jesus Christ and received the Word, we are called to actively participate in spiritual matters such as: Praying, Fasting, Reading the Word of God, Speaking in Tongues, Giving Cheerfully, Singing and Worshipping.
Martha was busy with many things and almost missed the very moment that could transform her life. Mary, however, captured it fully.
We are encouraged to be like Mary.
To build our lives and our churches on things that carry eternal value, not temporary distractions.
Let us focus on what truly matters, the Word, the Spirit, and our relationship with God.

Clearance and groundwork have begun for our new satellite church here with our family at COC Rabaul 🙌🏽

We are truly grateful to our COC family across PNG for your continued prayers and support, especially for East New Britain Province and Kokopo. Your prayers are making a difference as we step forward in faith to expand God’s work in this region.
This is more than just digging the ground, it’s laying a foundation for lives to be transformed, hope to be restored, and the Gospel to reach more people.
