What is Antichrist?
What is Antichrist or the spirit of the antichrist?
To understand Antichrist… first, what is Christ… !?😃
What does Christ mean?
Some people say, Jesus our saviour… or, the messiah… our deliverer etc …
Or, perhaps Jesus surname.. Jesus Christ, from the clan or tribe of Christs… son of Joseph Christ and Mary Christ. ( lol 😂 just kidding, just having a fun 🫢😁)
Christ is who Jesus was when He was on earth . Jesus was His name meaning, ’God saves’ or ‘The Lords salvation’
Immanuel = God is with us
The Christ is who He was ~ it is the term or word used to explain who He is ~~
Christ = the anointed one; or the anointed flesh; or the flesh the spirit of God wears or inhabits to carry out His work on earth and express the truth through.
Christ is God himself, in flesh on earth 👍 God can be on earth and in heaven at the same time
Here are some passages to explain:
Explanation: John 1:1, 9-11, 14 ~
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God….. (God is the Word! The way, the truth and the life)
…The true light (God), which gives light to everyone (humanity), was coming into the world. (God was coming into the world )
He was in the world (God in flesh ~ The Christ ~ the Son of Man ) and the world was made through him (God - the Creator) yet the world did not know him. He came to his own (His creation) , and his own people did not receive him (corrupt mankind did not recognise the Creator clothed in flesh simply by His outward appearance ).
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us… (God became flesh ~ The Christ , Jesus ~ The Messiah , and carried out the redemptive work on earth amongst mankind )
John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
(When Jesus said this to Philip, He was saying… you’ve seen God… I am God, in flesh ~ The Christ ~ The word become flesh)
I AM the way, the truth and the life (I AM = God the Father)
John 10:30 ~ I and the Father are one.”
John 12:49 ~ For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak.
The incarnate flesh / Jesus is not independent from the father, but is the incarnation of God and the incarnate flesh is in complete and absolute obedience, cooperation and harmony with the father because He is the Father, The incarnate flesh of God, The spirit of Truth clothed in flesh. Complete divinity, clothed in normal humanity.
“The ‘incarnation’ is God’s appearance in the flesh; God works among created mankind in the image of the flesh. So for God to be incarnated, He must first be flesh, flesh with normal humanity; this is the most basic prerequisite. In fact, the implication of God’s incarnation is that God lives and works in the flesh, that God in His very essence becomes flesh, becomes a man.”*
“The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood; He is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself.”*
“God become flesh is called Christ, and so the Christ that can give people the truth is called God. There is nothing excessive about this, for He possesses the essence of God, and possesses God’s disposition, and wisdom in His work, that are unattainable by man. Those who call themselves Christ, yet cannot do the work of God, are frauds. Christ is not merely the manifestation of God on earth, but also the particular flesh assumed by God as He carries out and completes His work among man. This flesh cannot be supplanted by just any man, but is a flesh that can adequately bear God’s work on earth, and express the disposition of God, and well represent God, and provide man with life”*
Okay.. so Christ means = The Word become flesh right… God in flesh 👍👍👍
Antichrist 😕😕😕
So what does Anti mean?
Anti = opposed to; against.
a person opposed to a particular policy, activity, or idea.��Anti = opposed to or against �Christ = God becoming flesh on earth amongst mankind ��Antichrist = Someone who is opposed or against God becoming flesh on earth to speak and work amongst mankind and doesn’t except and/or is resistant to the truth expressed by God in the flesh, or denies God on earth in the flesh.
In the book of John, and 2 John and
2 Thessalonians and Revelation it talks about Antichrists who were opposed to Jesus 2000 years ago; the first coming of Christ and ALSO, The Antichrist, the man of lawlessness and antichrists / spirit of the Antichrist ***that will be *** in the last days, when there is the second coming of Christ / The spirit of Truth comes 🙏�
2000 years ago there were many who opposed Jesus ~ The Christ. The first incarnation of God
In the last days there will be MANY who will oppose the second coming of Christ (God become flesh) The Son of Man comes 🙏
They resist and condemn that God would return in flesh to carry out His last stage of work.
This is Antichrist/s. Those who are opposed to; who are against; who resist and condemn… God in flesh on earth. They undermine Gods word and deter and cause division for those seeking the truth.
Antichrists or the spirit of Antichrist mainly deny God becomes flesh again; the words and truth He expresses through the incarnate flesh… and/or primarily look for the manifestation of signs and wonders to confirm His identity, or claim that God has not become flesh again (or) there is no God (or) that they are god.
They do not seek the expression of the truth from Christ in former days or in the last days…they do not follow the words of Christ to be changed and purified by the truth expressed by Christ. Antichrist are goats/ evil spirits and wicked people …. They long to see to be convinced, with the attitude of seeing is believing 😔
Gods sheep are different and this is what separates sheep from goats… Gods sheep; instead of seeing Christ return to believe… they will know He has returned in flesh by the many truths that He expresses in the last days; and they confirm His appearance and identity by seeking to hear His voice and are led and shepherded, watered , fed and be completely changed in their disposition, by the truth expressed by Christ.
📖“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
Jesus said He still had a lot more to say that He didn’t speak 2000 years ago…
John 16:12-13
“I still have many things to say to you,but you cannot bear them now. When the *** Spirit of truth comes***, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
In Revelation, the last book of the bible, pertaining to the last days, the only book in bible that comes with blessing if you read or hear…Jesus says He will speak more words (come with a double edged sword from His mouth) in the last days…. and we need to listen for them
He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. This is said Seven times in the book of Revelation…. Why 7 times? Because this is the only way to recognise Christ return in the last days and welcome His return 🙏
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man *hear* my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me’
