The PNG Bible Church officially welcomes Stephen, Mary, and Jason Klotz to Papua New Guinea. It was about 2.5 years ago when the process began and about 30 years when our last missionaries left PNG. Through the pandemic delays and other unforeseen challenges, God’s timing was perfect and, in the end, He alone brought them safely.

The PNG Bible Church ministry arm, The Foreign Missions Department would like to thank those who have supported in prayer, and in giving of your resources and time. Thank you to God's Bible School and College for their support and for all our former American missionaries for their tremendous support. It has been a miracle and God gets all the Glory, Honor, and Praise!

NEXT STEPS

Papua New Guinea Bible Church Inc. pays a Special Tribute to the Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare.

I take this opportunity to pay a special tribute to the Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare for gaining Independence for Papua New Guinea without firing a single shot from a gun.

Many have expressed it already but I want to say that this man was sent of God to unite Papua and New Guinea with a thousand tribes to become one United Papua New Guinea.

Many foreign countries and organizations working in the Trust Territories of Papua and New Guinea expected blood shed as the new country would plunge itself into turmoil, chaos and moved towards communism. But to everyone's surprise, Independence Day came Incident Free.

The United Nations directive to Colonial governments was threefold:

1. Train natives to take on management roles.
2. Localize top management positions with the trained nationals.
3. Nationalize all foreign owned entities including churches.

It is here, the Papua New Guinea Bible Church Inc. acknowledges the work of Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare for stitching together a fragmented 1000 Tribes to become one Nation calling it Papua New Guinea.

And at the eve of independence in 1975, the illiterate pastors working for Evangelical Bible Mission in the Southern and Western Highlands Provinces with the help of their leader late Glaimi Warena and the missionaries came together and formed a National Church.

The National Church replaced the mission work in the new country about to be born and in anticipation to that the church founding fathers named their church: "The Papua New Guinea Bible Church."

The Papua New Guinea Bible Church Inc. wants to acknowledge and express appreciation for the time when the Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare, realizing that he could not govern this country without God, Dedicated Papua New Guinea to the God of Israel to be the God of Papua New Guinea.

On the time of the passing of this great man, we need to take our country back to God.

Our Health, Our Wealth and Well-being comes from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who our Founding Father invoked in a Special Covenant between the people of Papua New Guinea and God of Israel.

Thank you Papa Somare.

Rev. Wane Ninjipa
General Superintendent

The PNG Bible Church Mourns the loss of Late Luther Joseph Nomoru. Luther was the founder and lead vocalist of the Elohim Revelation Ministries. He was a prolific songwriter, drama playwriter, singer and musician. God saved and sanctified him from a lifestyle of Rock ‘n roll and worldly music. He dedicated his talents to Christian music. Most of his young life was dedicated to music evangelism all across PNG and brought many to Christ through his music ministry.

His ministry has influenced a next generation of PNG Bible Church musicians. His songs can be heard sang across Papua New Guinea by hundreds and thousands of people in the churches across the nation. Elohim Revelation Ministries recorded several albums that has blessed many and will be treasured for years to come.

Even though we have lost a great man, we rejoice today knowing that heaven as gained another singer in its heavenly choir. Luther left behind a fiery testimony of being God’s humble servant till the end. He told his family, “Get back to singing in the church.” Luther battled diabetes and eventually succumbed to liver disease. He went to be with the Lord at 3:30pm on January 19, 2021.

All across Papua New Guinea Bible Church, today every young man and women, old and young, put down their guitars and their keyboards, they lay down their musical instruments for a moment and stand to honor and salute this man as he has departed and Gone to the place, he sang about, “Heavenly Home, where I'm going to be….”. We honor today a man who helped us understand what true worship is and what it can mean when a talent is dedicated fully to God. PNG Bible Church deeply appreciates his impact in our church, and today we say Farewell our good friend and Godspeed.
Our condolences goes out to the immediate family members, church congregation, extended family and friends.

Brother Luther is survived by his wife, three boys, three girls, and one grandson.

The PNG Bible Church Foreign Missions Department acknowledges and sends out it's condolences to Missionary Pastor Mark Koromba family and his church congregation in the Philippines.

Today we mourn the loss of Mrs. Adelfa Perito, Mark's mother in law. She was one of the best mothers in the congregation, women's fellowship leader, and faithful church attender and was early every church service.

She had a vibrant testimony and always quoted scripture and loved others deeply. She was a peace maker in the family community. She always took the lead in preparing meals for Christmas celebrations and had a servant's heart.

The day before her passing, she was extra happy than usual and was singing the song "You are my refuge". Rudilyn(Mark's wife) and her dad noticed and wondered what was going on. Little did they know that she was getting ready to go home! Hallelujah!

At 4am she got up, ready for the day and passed on to be with the Lord. She had blood pressure issues and was on medication. She was 49 years old. She is survived by her husband, 3 boys and one girl Rudilyn who is our missionary to the Philippines.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Philippines Mission Field, Mark, Rudilyn and the Perito Family. May God comfort you at this time.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

The PNG Bible Church Missionaries have been preparing to come to PNG. Their scheduled arrival to PNG in June 2020 has been delayed due to COVID 19. We are now working to bring them sometime in July or August depending on the International travel restrictions and PNG SOE.

Continue to pray for them as they prepare to come. We are currently in the process of building a new home for missionaries to replace the original building that was burned at Pabrabuk, the PNG Bible Church headquarters.

The Klotz family will stay in the guest house while the new home will be constructed. For more information, please contact the missions board members in POM or in Hagen/Pabrabuk.

We need your support and prayers. For those who pledged and those who want to give, please send your donations to: "PNG Bible Church Project"; BSP Account #: 7015849834:

Thank you for your donations. God bless you all.
