WABAG TOWN SDA CHURCH SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHES ONEVOICE 27 - GEARS UP FOR 2027

The spirit of mission is burning high in Wabag Town-Enga Province. The Wabag Town Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sabbath witnessed a historic and joyous occasion-the official launching of OneVoice 27: Mission For All, the worldwide digital evangelism initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The atmosphere was electric. Church members, youths, elders and leaders were thrilled, singing with one voice and praising God for this God-given movement they have been praying and preparing for.

The official program was graced by the General Secretary of the Western Highlands Mission, Pr Edward David who brought a powerful and inspiring message challenging the church to arise and be part of God's end-time movement.

The highlight of the day was the official launching -marked by the unveiling of the banner of the OnveVoice 27 and cutting of a celebration cake, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter, a new mission, and a new voice that will join millions around the world to proclaim hope.

OneVoice 27 is not just a program. It is a global movement launched by the General Conference to public ministry-targeting the media audience.

Speaking during the launch, the Church Pastor of Wabag Town Church, Minister Lawrence Lambu, outlined the roadmap for the church as they prepare for the great month of September 2027.

"We have been praying for this program every Sunday morning with the church members and youths. We have already started preparing our church spiritually by reading The Desire of Ages to prepare our members for OneVoice 27 Digital Evangelism," Min Lambu said.

The OneVoice 27 will turn every member into a digital disciple, every phone into a pulpit, and every social media platform- Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram — into a mission field.

The members and participants left the church thrilled, inspired, and geared up-ready to pray, to prepare, and to preach.

OneVoice 27 has begun in Wabag town church. The journey to September 2027 starts now!

NEED YOUR PRAYERS FOR GOD'S INTERVENTION

HORRIBLE INCIDENT AT KAIPALE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH -SURINKI, LAIGAM DISTRICT, ENGA PROVINCE

A tribal fight that broke out near Surunki in Laigam District has resulted in the burning of the church pastor's house, with personal properties, evangelism equipment, and other valuable items worth thousands of Kina destroyed.

The conflict erupted between Paip, Panap, and Wapam clans against the Warin clan. Due to the escalating ethnic confrontation, the pastor of Kaipale Organized Church, Minister Noah Yapao, was forced to flee with his family to Laigam Station at the District Headquarters, leaving all his belongings behind.

As the fighting intensified, warriors set fire to the pastor's house and kitchen, burning everything to ashes. They also attempted to burn the church building, but faithful church members bravely intervened and extinguished the flames, saving the church.

Minister Yapao lamented, “All my household items, including my evangelistic equipment, were burned by the warriors and opportunists.”

Satan is more aggressive now than ever like a roaring lion and a venomous viper. Let us uphold Minister Noah Yapao and his family in prayer as they have lost everything, and let us pray for our church members in Kaipale, that God's grace and peace will prevail over violence.

Need Your Prayers For Kompiam District Director, Min. Nathan Kantis Laurie

Serving God in isolated and new work areas is one of the hardest callings.These are places where Satan has deeply established his evil networks and dark cultures for generations. The gospel literally invading enemy territory.

That is exactly what happened with Min. Nathan Kantis, the District Director of Kompiam District.

He led a team of brave missionaries to Elem, on the Enga and East Sepik border-a very remote place.

After a successful Evangelistic campaign and the baptism of 35 precious souls, the enemy struck back.
Min. Nathan was infected with a serious sickness. He became so weak that the local people had to carry him out on a stretcher through the bush to the nearest airstrip.

Pray for Min. Nathan’s healing, for strength for the team as they make their way back to Enga, and for protection over this new field.
