Our Lenten journey begins on Ash Wednesday with a reminder of our own mortality: "You are dust, and to dust you shall return."

We receive ashes, a sign of our mortality and penance, urging us to embrace Lent with a fullness that allows us to draw ever closer to God.

This is a time to bring everything to God and to turn away from those things which hold us back from Him, echoing the words of the Prophet Joel: "Return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful."

May this Lent be a time of deep encounter with God, as we journey towards Easter.

On behalf of the Parish Priest, the Parish Pastoral Council, and the entire parish community, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to our beloved member of the PPC, Chairlady of St Therese BCC, and dedicated teacher at the St Therese Vocational Centre, Mrs. Leonie Sianot Ulengit.

We mourn with you in this time of great sorrow and loss. Your service, leadership, and commitment to St. Therese Parish and to the education of our young people have been a blessing to our parish and community. Your faith, generosity, and dedication will always be remembered and cherished by us all.

To her four beloved sons, her sister Stella and family, please know that you are not alone in your grief. We share in your pain and hold you close in our thoughts and prayers. May the love of God surround you, grant you strength, and bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Ordinary Sunday #1 - Yia A Kalenda

We were blessed to hear the Sermon shared by Fr. Alex🙏🏾

"There is no Christ without the cross. We have a lot of crosses, sicknesses, suffering but also, the cross is a sign of victory." He reminded us of how we can see ourselves as we are the lamb of God.

John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one of whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’” John 1:29–30
