BWASA LAUNCHED THE FIRST ANNUAL CONVENTION AT WAU WARIA DISTRICT.
We the Bulolo-Wau Adventist Student Association (BWASA) proud to announce that we have our first ever Student Convention Camp Launching Program successfully held here at Wau Ecology Adventist Church Ground.
The Combined weekend Camp-Out Program held from May 23rd to 25th, 2025, at Ecology Adventist Church, Wau-Waria District.
The camp carried the inspiring theme:
"Train Me, I Will Go & Transform My Community," thus, all students were inspired by the honored guest speaker, Pastor Mac Uhoni, the Bulolo District Director, who delivered powerful messages of mission and commitment.
This weekend camp marked the official launching of the First BWASA Convention, which is scheduled to be held at the same Venue—Ecology Adventist Church—from December 7th to 14th, 2025.
The students and leaders participated actively and reverently in all the Sabbath spiritual worship programs and activities from Friday evening (FnF), Sabbath School, Divine Service, and Sabbath closing (AY). They sang songs of praise that uplifted spirits and stirred hearts to praise God.
The Official Launcing Ceremony, held on Sunday, May 25th, with the lighting of the 1ST FIRE FLAME STAND representing the Spirit of Student Ministry yearly. It was a historic milestone for BWASA.
We have guests representatives from the Business Houses, District Education Department, Ward 4 Councilor, schools, Pastors, church leaders, community Leader, and student leaders witnessed the moment.
BWASA President Mr. Lanza Namalu, along with his dedicated executives, worked heartedly and tirelessly to organize the event. With the generous support from the hosting Church Ecology Adventist church family and the local community, their collective efforts led to the meaningful success of the weekend program.
The camp-out event brought joy, excitement, and spiritual encouragement with lasting impressions to students, staff, executives, church families, and visitors alike. Most importantly, it rekindled the spiritual commitment of all attendees and strengthened their hope in the soon return of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ the soon coming King.
We are now prayer fully looking forward to the upcoming programs and updates from the 2025 Executives of the day.
