Ragiampun Adventist High School held a special Reconciliation Program between teachers and Grade 10 students as they prepared to sit for their Grade 10 National Examination on Monday.
The meaningful program brought together teachers, students, parents and guardians in a spirit of forgiveness, unity and renewed commitment. Parents and guardians witnessed the occasion as teachers and students openly reconciled with one another, putting aside misunderstandings and differences before the students entered an important stage of their academic journey.
The program was officiated by Pastor Jacob Kwara, Markham 2 District Director, who encouraged both teachers and students to forgive one another and move forward with peace, respect and understanding.
In his message, Pastor Kwara reminded the students that success in their examination is not only about academic preparation, but also about having a peaceful heart, a clear mind and the right attitude. He encouraged them to respect their teachers, listen carefully to instructions and place their trust in God as they prepare for the examination.
The teachers also expressed their willingness to support and encourage the students, acknowledging that education is a partnership between teachers, students, parents and the wider community. Students were given the opportunity to seek forgiveness, express their appreciation and reconcile with their teachers before beginning their examination.
Parents and guardians who witnessed the program expressed appreciation for the initiative, recognizing the importance of reconciliation and unity in creating a positive environment for the students.
The occasion concluded with prayers and words of encouragement for the Grade 10 students as they prepare to sit for their National Examination on Monday. The entire school community wished the students success and encouraged them to remain disciplined, focused and prayerful.
The Reconciliation Program served as a powerful reminder that forgiveness, unity and faith can strengthen a community and prepare young people not only for examinations, but also for life beyond the classroom.
