🌹 KNOW YOUR PRAYER – THE HAIL MARY 🌹

🙏 "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee." 📖 "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you." — Luke 1:28

✝️ These are the words spoken by the Angel Gabriel when he announced that Mary would become the Mother of Jesus.

🙏 "Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." 📖 "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb." — Luke 1:42
👑 These are the words of Elizabeth, inspired by the Holy Spirit when Mary visited her.

🙏 "Holy Mary, Mother of God." 📖 "And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" — Luke 1:43
❤️ Elizabeth calls Mary the Mother of her Lord, recognizing Jesus as Lord and God.

🙏 "Pray for us sinners." 📖 "Pray for one another." — James 5:16
🤲 As members of God's family, we ask Mary and the saints to pray for us.

🙏 "Now and at the hour of our death." 📖 "Whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's." — Romans 14:8
🕊️ We ask for Mary's prayers throughout our lives and especially at the moment of death.

✨ Amen means "So be it" or "I believe."

The Caritas Coordinator, Gloria Didi, and Family Life Coordinator, Steven Paglau, conducted an implementation meeting yesterday at YC Hall for the facilitators of the Sorcery Accusation Related Violence (SARV) Community Curriculum from the Upper Asaro District.
Fr. Vincent and Sr. Arnolda from the Melanesian Institute were also present to offer moral support. The facilitators are now prepared to implement the curriculum in their respective communities.
We pray for God’s blessings, wisdom, and strength upon them as they carry out this important work.

On Pentecost Sunday evening, priests, religious, and friends gathered at the Holy Spirit Sisters Convent at YC for Evening Prayer and fellowship in celebration of the Feast of the Holy Spirit Sisters. It was a joyful occasion of prayer, unity, and support for the sisters and their mission in the Goroka Diocese. 🙏🔥

🙏 OUR FATHER (The Lord’s Prayer) 🙏

“Our Father, who art in heaven…”

This is the prayer Jesus Himself taught us. Every word has a deep meaning for our daily Christian life.

✝️ Simple Meaning of the Prayer

👨‍👩‍👧 “Our Father”

God is not far away. He is our loving Father, and we are all His children.

☁️ “Who art in heaven”

God is holy, powerful, and above all things, yet He listens to our prayers.

🕊️ “Hallowed be Thy
name”

We ask that God’s name may be honored and respected everywhere.

👑 “Thy Kingdom come”

We pray that God’s peace, love, and justice may reign in our hearts and in the world.

🙏 “Thy will be done”

We trust God’s plan and ask for strength to follow His ways.

🍞 “Give us this day our daily bread”

God provides for our daily needs, food, strength, peace, and grace.

💞 “Forgive us our trespasses”

We ask mercy for our sins and learn to forgive others.

🤝 “As we forgive those who trespass against us”

True prayer also calls us to love and forgive people around us.

🛡️ “Lead us not into temptation”

We ask God to protect us from sin and evil.

✨ “Deliver us from evil”

God is our protector and savior in every struggle.

🌿 Message for Today:

The “Our Father” is not only a prayer to say with our lips, it is a way of life.
It teaches us trust, forgiveness, love, humility, and complete faith in God.

Blessed Birthday to the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church! Today, we joyfully celebrate the birth of the Holy Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ and guided through the ages by the Holy Spirit. Through nearly 2,000 years of trials and triumphs, the Church continues her mission of proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the Sacraments, and bringing hope to the world. As we celebrate Pentecost, we also extend heartfelt feast day wishes to the Holy Spirit Sisters. May the Holy Spirit continue to renew, strengthen, and guide the Church and bless the Sisters abundantly in their mission of love and service.
