Man and dinosaurs... lived at the same time!

Figures 2 and 3: Ancient depictions from Mesopotamia and a carving from a tomb in England. Interestingly, these portrayals look much closer to modern anatomical reconstructions than the early scientific artwork does.

That raises an important question. How did ancient people seem to get the basic body shape right long before modern paleontology existed?

The Bible's answer is simple. Dinosaurs and humans were both created by God during Creation Week. They were not separated by millions of years of evolution. Ancient people knew what these creatures looked like because they lived in the same world.

"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:3

Many people do not realize that the word dinosaur was not invented until 1841. Before then, these creatures were often referred to as dragons. The Bible even describes a creature called Behemoth in Job 40, a massive land animal with a tail that "moveth like a cedar." Many creation researchers believe this description fits a sauropod dinosaur far better than any animal alive today.

Scientists with the Blue Brain Project, which concluded in 2024, discovered something remarkable. Your brain does not simply link neurons in straight or simple chains. Instead, it builds extraordinarily complex structures that can reach up to 11 dimensions of connectivity.

Using a branch of mathematics called algebraic topology, researchers mapped how neurons form groups called cliques and how empty spaces called cavities appear between them. As the brain processes information, these cliques and cavities emerge, expand, peak, and then fade, much like watching multidimensional castles being constructed and dismantled in precise order.

This reveals a direct connection between the brain’s structure and its function. The mind literally computes by creating and collapsing hyperdimensional networks. Nothing about this is random. Such breathtaking organization points to intentional design, a Creator who engineered the human brain with wisdom far beyond human imagination.
