There is a satanic inspired distortion being fed to the Christian community through several major church leaders as well as prominent secular personalities. This false doctrine is aimed at moving Christians from a "narrow way," based on acceptance of the cross of Christ, to a spirit of "tolerance, acceptance and respect" for all religions. In so doing the enemy will cause many to deny the very doctrine that is at the core of the Christian faith. They will cause many to "fall away." This "small" distortion of the truth causes those who accept it (who think they are in the faith) to actually deny the faith. Because it is necessary to believe that Jesus is THE "Christ" in order to be a Christian. To deny this tenant of the faith is to in fact to deny Christ. That is why the cross of Christ is an "offense" to other religions. It declares that you MUST ACCEPT Christ in order to have salvation. Without an acceptance of Christ, true Christianity says you cannot have God. In fact the scripture tells us that anyone who "denies Christ" (that He is the savior and only way to the Father) is AntiChrist.
Those who buy into, accept or participate in this false doctrine have denied the faith. These "mega" preachers who use phrases that seem harmless on there face are wolves dressed up in lambs clothing. When asked directly concerning the doctrine of Christ, they opt out of defending the truth and apply their subtle distortions. With comments such as, "well, I don't judge," "I cannot say who will go to heaven," and "I will let God determine that." As well as other sinister distortions that generally go undetected such as, "I respect all beliefs," "I value all religions."
You might think that sounds okay and actually believe it is the way we should believe. The truth however is that these statements, those like them and these type of beliefs oppose the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus and his disciples clearly taught that there is only one way to God. That all other ways represent "thieves and robbers." The biblical truth teaches that there is only one path to God, one way to salvation and one name given for men to be saved. Any denial or distortion of these truths is from the "spirit of anti-christ." I understand why Paul was so concerned and cried for years about what was to come. I share now in his anguish, I cry over those who are being led astray by these false teachers. Be on Alert!
