We encourage everyone to enter into our First Principles study series for making disciples. We look forward to tremendous growth spiritually, emotionally and numerically in the years to come. Our goal is to be a church full of disciples that love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and that love each other just as Jesus loved us (Matthew 22:37-40, Jn. 13:34-35). We want to lead the way
in laying down our lives for each other and emphasize the need for every disciple to be a committed servant in the body of Christ (1 Jn. 3:16, Mk. 10:43-45). We want to reach out within our community and share our faith, so that through us, God can make disciples of all the nations living around us (Matthew 28:18-20) and bring them into a loving, serving and maturing body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-16). What We Believe
1. There is one true God who reveals himself to the world as The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
2. Jesus, the Son of God, is our one and only Lord and Savior, crucified for our sins and physically resurrected from the dead on the third day. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15)
3. The whole Bible is the written message of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)
4. A person is saved by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. A person must, through faith and obedience, reach out to receive this free gift of salvation. (Ephesians 1:1-10; James 2:14-26)
5. As with the first Christians, when a person repents and is baptized in water, their sins are forgiven and the Holy Spirit will be received. (Acts 2:36-41; Romans 8:5-11)
6. Each Christian has a mission to share Christ by teaching all people to be a disciple, baptizing them, and to continue to be involved in their life to help a person mature in their faith. (Matthew 28:18-20)
7. We must love one another as Jesus did by laying our life down for each other through love, and sharing the Gospel with others. By this people will know that we are Jesus’ disciples. (John 13:34-35)
8. Each member is encouraged to have their own convictions based on the Bible through personal Bible study . (Acts 17:11)
