🕊️ Rest in Peace, Father Penehe 🕯️

It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Father Penehe. 💔

It is difficult to find the right words to express how deeply saddened we are by your passing. Throughout your ministry, you touched the lives of so many people through your faith, compassion, guidance and service to the Catholic Church and the community. 🙏

Your dedication to God and to His people will always be remembered. The seeds of faith, hope and love that you planted in so many lives will continue to bear fruit. 🌿✝️

Although we mourn your passing, we give thanks to God for the gift of your life and ministry. May the Lord welcome you into His eternal kingdom and grant you everlasting peace. 🕊️

At these locations they provide:
• Tea and coffee
• Needs assessment
• A place to rest
• Device charging
• You can also bring your domestic pets with you

• Wainuiomata Marae is also activated for accommodation and food for evacuees. We will update you on activated hubs as they are confirmed.

Road closures remain in place, including:
• Harcourt Werry Drive
• Parts of Riverside Drive
• Port Road and Barnes Road
• Copeland Street area
