Tonight's Bible study focused on the importance of water baptism in the name of Jesus. While many people have been baptized, it is vital that we understand why baptism in 'Jesus' name is important and what it represents for us as believers.

John 3:5-6 NIV
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. [6] Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Acts 2:38-39 NIV
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

What do you love about the House of God?

Is it the presence of God that refreshes your soul? The worship that lifts your spirit? Or the fellowship of believers who encourage you along the way?

Today was a beautiful reminder that the House of God is never something we should take for granted. Seeing Brother Wilson back in service after a season of being bedridden reminded us that what may feel routine to some is a blessing that many deeply long for.

The House of God is more than a building, it is a place of hope, healing, strength, and belonging. It is where burdens are laid down, faith is renewed, and lives are touched by the presence of God.

May we always treasure every opportunity to gather together, worship together, and grow together in the Lord.

What a powerful word we received today. Sometimes God is calling us to close the doors to things that hinder our walk with Him—old habits, unforgiveness, distractions, and anything that keeps us from His presence.

In order for the anointing to flow, we must humble ourselves and pray. When we surrender ourselves before God, He is faithful to move, heal, restore, and lead us into His perfect will.

" If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray..."

Thankful for the Word of God and the challenge to examine our hearts. May we be willing to close every door that doesn't glorify Him and open our hearts to go deeper in Christ🙌

Beautiful way to start the day, having men's fellowship this morning🔥
