A big thank you of gratitude to the committee board for everything that you do. We appreciate your advice, support and encouragement to keep Coopers Beach Christian Camp thriving!

Our next set of campers will be thrilled to experience the new fridge and freezer.

Kia ora koutou to all our wonderful camping groups! We wish you let you know of some background changes to our organisation;

Following the Government changes to the Incorporated Societies Act the Committee managing the camp have moved to a Charitable Trust model. This will mean an easier model to manage long into the future as we continue serving our Community.

What this means for you;

*Our new Legal name is Coopers Beach Christian Youth Camp Charitable Trust

*Our Bank account number for paying your invoice has changed. Please contact Natasha in our camp office for the new details if you need it.

*We are now invoicing from Xero accounting system - so look out for the new invoice format following your next stay with us.

Everything else continues the same and we look forward to seeing you in the future!

Last days to register! I have a couple of spots due to cancelations... head over to the website www.cbcyc.co.nz click on the 'our camps' page and find the Girls Camp info.

Girls 9-13 years old

Cost: $110.00

Camp starts: Friday 26th Sept 4.30pm
Camp ends: Monday 29th Sept 11.30am

Camps include lots of indoor and outdoor fun activities, team building activities, bible teaching times, opportunities for girls to make new friends and develop new skills in a safe environment. Some of our activities will include Kayaks, Waterslide, Beach activities, loads of Crafts, Outdoor games, and our annual Camp Concert which is always hilarious!

The theme this year is 'Firmly Planted' - Growing deep in God's love. Bible talks will be centred around emotions that they face and anchors girls in the truth that no matter what emotions they face—love, anger, abandonment, hopelessness—they are deeply known and unconditionally loved by God.

Campers take part in duties to keep camp running smoothly, and there is lots of time to make new friends telling stories at night, or across the dining room tables.

Once the registration form is received AND payment of $110, an email confirmation will be sent to you along with a list of things to send with your child to camp. No places can be held or reserved.

The atmosphere this weekend was pure joy!

Co-lab weekend with Word of Life, discipling 34 teens toward a deeper relationship with God. Laughter (lots of it!), fantastic games, challenging sessions on personal spiritual growth, and some really cool friendships formed.

Word of Life crew, it was a pleasure to host you and watch your team at work. Thank you so much for building into Northland youth!

God is good, all the time! All glory to Him.

Grant Laybourns Baptism at Coopers Beach Youth Camp! 😀 (Congradulations for taking the plunge! May God continue to guide your steps in all you do! & Thank you for sharing your baptism with us all!

Grants Speech........

It was over 44 years ago that Evelyn used to drag me off the church at the Totora North Bible Chapel in the early 80’s .

I was always sore and bruised after playing rugby the day before & feeling a little worse for wear at times .

But I’ve never forgotten the warm welcome I always received from the chapel & seeing all the local families congregating at Church every Sunday, families like the Flemings, Frear’s & McIntoshes.

Also I haven't the great food after church by the ladies.

WHY TODAY AM I GETTING BAPTISED ?
I see deception everywhere & felt the urgency to set an example to my family & friends that God is real and our time on earth is short.

A quote was sent to me one day from someone ,
I can’t remember who but it got me thinking,
It said …
Don’t gamble with eternity . Hell has no exit doors .
The moment we take our last breath, there will be no re-do’s. Invite Jesus into your life today !
There’s no second chance .

Christ died for you & I when He was nailed to the cross at Calvary .

He died for us all ,
All sins forgiven .

It says in Mathew Chapter 17 v 21 & 22
That faith can move a mountain & I really have been a mountain to move .

God has been patient & faithful to Evelyn & I over the years .
And so to Him I give my thanks today .
