๐พGod in Psalms
One of the most well know Psalms is Psalms 23 which starts off with "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want"
Its such a nice calm passage talking about how God as the good shepherd takes care of us and guides us.
And thats nice, but what about when things aren't going well? What about when we're missing our shots, we're turning the ball over and getting frustrated that things aren't going to plan?
If we go back one chapter to Psalms 22, verse one says "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?"
See sometimes we can see each other during their Psalms 23 stage and see that things look all good but we don't realise that just half an hour ago they were having a Psalms 22 moment.
But thats how good God is to us. He has room for all your feelings. Whether its happy and grateful or bordeline toxic, God can handle it all. He welcomes it all and just loves to hear from you.
If you've got older kids that don't live with you any more, you know its nice to hear from them. Doesn't matter if they're in trouble, if they're struggling or if they want to spend time with you or not. Just hearing from them warms your heart. And our father God is just the same, He is hanging out to hear from you
