KYC is a community youth and whanau initiative - specifically for intermediate and high school youth creative expression; slam, dance, spoken word, song, theatre, technical - hard/software, video, lighting and sound mixing, stage effects etc or just friends hanging out and having fun. It's generational, with
a youth focus, where generations support one another. Weekly gatherings lead up to open community concerts mixing guest artists and local youth talent. Gatherings on some weeks may involve alternative activities such as beach, BBQ, movies etc. Our Kaupapa is to provide an environment to help our youth develop skills, confidence and character strength for life through Christian faith based values, where everyone is recognised as valuable, unique, wonderfully made and gifted in many ways by an awesome creator God.
