This was one challenging interview! Harry Almy is a delightful young interviewer who does in-depth, HOUR LONG interviews. We started on a nice, easy, practical level, but were getting into some complex stuff by the end. I'm not sure if I wish I'd had some warning about some of these questions or not... Last week all my mother's descendants and descendants-in-law (and a much-loved great-niece) gathered for her 90th birthday - a wonderful weekend at Digger's Camp to celebrate my wonderful mother. I've lost count of the number of friends over the years who have told me they wished she was their mother too. I am forever thankful she is mine.

Following on a long family tradition, we had a "concert" on the evening of her celebration, and here's the whole family singing her a blessing at the end.
