The first 4 chapters of Genesis are action-packed! God creates everything, Adam and Eve take the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and Cain kills Abel. Chapter 5 seems like a bit of a step down in comparison - it's a genealogy, with some difficult names (Mahalalel, Kenan, and Methuselah). But come along this Sunday to Trinity as we look at this chapter, and how these names and ages fit into the wider picture of the Bible.

This Sunday marks the fifth and final week of our series, Delighting in the Bible. Over the last 4 weeks you may have come up with some questions, so we will be running a Q&A Session during all three of the services. Send your questions in to the office ([email protected]). But as we finish this time of examining the Bible - what it is, is it trustworthy, who is it all about, and what is it for - we come to week 5: How do I delight in the Bible? Because if, as we've seen, the Bible is vital for knowing the God of the universe and His plan to bring us back to Himself, then it's good news - something worth delighting in!
