They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. The first half of the talk defines a pilgrimage, its challenges, who takes them, why and how they take them and where the destinations are. The second half reflects on the spiritual inward journeys through lifetimes (Metempsychosis), explaining the Antahkarana (Bridge of Light) towards higher consciousness; practical steps you can take towards developing your own pilgrimage towards enlightenment.

REFLECTIONS OF CONSCIOUSNESS 6 October
Modern science is now discovering that the brain does not create consciousness: it only processes it. So, what then, is consciousness? Why is it such a puzzle to our science professionals? Are we starting to understand the connectedness of everything, the source of our emotions and thoughts, and do they lean more towards the sacred texts in a way that we can now start putting the puzzle pieces together.

She will also talk on accessing conscious bars and Angelic Reiki. A dynamic evening learning about Jane's life journey from a devastating fire to living a full life, in light and love. Ending with a light language meditation giving peace and upliftment. 7pm start at the church.

Kirsty Morton will be your Tutor tomorrow night Tuesday 17th from the A Bit From Left Field course 2026. She will be talking about Theosophy.
Theosophy means "divine wisdom," coming from the Greek words theos (god) and sophia (wisdom). It is a 19th-century esoteric religious movement teaching that people can gain spiritual truth and know God through mystical insight, meditation, and intuition, rather than through traditional religious dogmas.

This Sunday the 16th August 2026 we have a member of our congregation who was recently baptised in the church, being Steven Lee, as our guest Medium. Steven also runs our Mens group on Thursday evening and a healing group on Friday evening. Our service begins with the Baptism of Donna-Marie Shelton. Sure to be an enlightening afternoon of dedication and messages from your loved ones in Spirit.

The Ministers of the church will be baptising her and blessing her with water from the river Jordan that Jesus was baptised in.
