Next week is 24-7 Prayer's Global Week of Prayer.

This offers us a unique opportunity to join with Christians around the world in prayer. Leaders from around the 24-7 Prayer movement are leading hour-long prayer calls online where you can pray alongside people from many different nations.

Some of the NZ team will be hosting the 10am-11am slot on Mon 7 and Wed 9 Sep.

If you'd like to be part of this, you can join them through the link in the comments.

Last Sunday, Matt kicked off our new series: Wide Awake. If you missed it or you'd like to listen again, you can do that on our website or wherever you get your podcasts.

Coming this Sunday, we continue our series.

Paul reminds us that we were spiritually dead, but God, because of His great love and mercy, has made us alive with Christ.

Join us this week as we ask: Are we living from grace, or still trying to earn it? We'll be looking at Ephesians 2:1-10 (NIV) if you'd like to read ahead.

See you there!

Join us as we pray for our neighbours in the city.

After the morning service on Sunday 13 September, we'll gather together and make our way down to Emily Place, the site of the first St Paul's, praying for the Universities, government, and the wider church as we go.

Meet Rose and Elizabeth at the Hello Desk on the day if you'd like to join us.

Coming on Sunday ...

Ephesians invites us to wake up to the wonder of what God has done in Jesus - and to allow that reality to reshape who we are, how we live, and what we carry into the world.

As we become increasingly awake to God’s grace, love and presence, our lives begin to carry the fragrance of Christ.

This new series invites us into a faith that doesn't simply inform us but awakens us - a faith that can't help but share what God has done in Jesus.

It's also After Hours this week - join us after the Evening Service downstairs in the Crypt for a home-cooked meal.

Coming on Sunday ...

Join us as we close out our Teach Us to Pray series and focus on what it means to live in hope and what prayerful spiritual warfare looks like for us in our everyday lives.

We'll be reading from Ephesians 6:10–18 and Revelation 21:1–5 if you'd like to read ahead.

See you there!

Homelessness in our city is rising, and often hidden - people moving between couches, cars, and shelters. As Christians, how do we respond?

Together with Auckland Church Network, we're hosting a panel on the human reality of homelessness.

Our panel includes:
👉🏻 Jeremy Nicholls – Outreach Team Leader, Visionwest
👉🏻 Josh Hendry – Safety Net Coordinator, Massey Community Trust
👉🏻 Ron Suyker – Regional Partnerships Lead (Homelessness) and Community Wellbeing, Auckland Council
👉🏻 Rachel Bruns – Team Lead, Housing First, Lifewise

Whether you're already involved or simply want to understand the issues more deeply, we'd love you to join us as we listen, learn, and consider how we can respond with compassion and hope.

This is a free event, but please RSVP at the link in the comments.
