Auckland GALS at the Service of celebration of 40 years of law reform. Lovely Service. Glen Bennett's remembrance of his experience as a child in a church opposed was particularly poignant. We have come a long way but acceptance of all is still not achieved.

We're hoping this will be a time to find solidarity and connection with other folk who are also looking for a kind and spacious place to land. Maybe it's to process (and lament) old forms of faith that no longer work, and maybe it's also to explore what might be possible and life-giving as we sit with our questions, doubts and hopes in conversation together.
