मायामा कहिलेकाहीँ यस्तो हुन्छ रहेछ…
मनभित्र थुप्रिएका भावनाहरूले अचानक भक्कानिएर रुन मन लाग्छ। कहिलेकाहीँ त आफैँलाई प्रश्न गर्न मन लाग्छ—“तिमी साँच्चै मेरो हौ नि? कि म मात्रै तिमीलाई आफ्नो सम्झेर बसेको हुँ?”
मैले तिमीलाई माया कम गरेको थिइनँ, बरु सायद शब्दले बयान गर्न नसक्ने गरी धेरै माया गरेको थिएँ। तिमीलाई आफ्नो ठानेँ, आफ्नो संसार ठानेँ, आफ्नो खुसी ठानेँ। तर दुःख त्यतिबेला लाग्यो, जब त्यही मायामा कतै खोट निस्कियो।

मैले मनदेखि माया गर्दैमा मात्र के हुँदो रहेछ र…
जब सम्बन्धको अर्को किनाराबाट त्यही माया उस्तै भएर फर्किँदैन रहेछ।

आज पनि तिमीप्रतिको माया कम भएको छैन, तर त्यो मायाभित्र एउटा गहिरो चोट बसेको छ।
म मुस्कुराउँछु, सामान्य देखिन्छु, तर मनको कुनामा एउटा प्रश्न सधैँ बाँकी रहन्छ—
“मैले यति धेरै माया गरेको मान्छे, साँच्चै मेरो थियो त?”

कहिलेकाहीँ माया सम्झेर आँखा रसाउँछ,
कहिलेकाहीँ तिम्रो यादले मन भक्कानिन्छ,
र कहिलेकाहीँ आफ्नै मनलाई सम्झाउनुपर्छ—
माया साँचो हुनु मात्र पर्याप्त रहेनछ, त्यसलाई साँचो मनले जोगाउने मान्छे पनि चाहिँदो रहेछ। 💔
