Open Appeal for the Immediate Release of Nepali Citizen Captain Amrit Jha

The Office of the Grand M***i Nepal expresses deep concern over recent reports regarding the detention of Nepali citizen Captain Amrit Jha by the authorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We respectfully urge the Government of Iran to ensure that Captain Jha is treated with dignity, fairness, and in accordance with international legal standards. We also appeal for a transparent and swift resolution of this matter, with due consideration given to humanitarian grounds.

The Grand M***i Nepal calls upon the concerned authorities to facilitate his early and unconditional release, taking into account the principles of justice, compassion, and mutual respect that bind nations together.

We stand in solidarity with Captain Jha’s family during this difficult time and express our hope for a positive and prompt outcome.

Furthermore, we request the Government of Nepal and relevant diplomatic channels to take necessary initiatives to secure his safe return.
