With deep sorrow, Trinity Baptist Church extends our heartfelt condolences to our brother Raymon Gollo and his entire family on the passing of his beloved wife, Maryuri Samuel.

May the Lord surround you with His love, strengthen you in this time of sorrow, and grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding. As a church family, we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will be your refuge and strength during these difficult days.

“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

Today, we had another beautiful opportunity to spend time with the elders of our church. It was a special time filled with joy, fellowship, prayer, and love.

Our senior members are a blessing to our church. Their lives, experiences, and testimonies remind us of God’s faithfulness throughout the years.

“Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.” — Psalm 71:9

A Day of New Beginnings

Today, we celebrate the joy of baptism and the beautiful testimony of lives being surrendered to Christ.

Baptism is a public declaration that we belong to Jesus — that our old life has been buried, and we are raised to walk in newness of life.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
— Romans 6:4

To God be all the glory

With joy and gratitude to God, we celebrated the ordination of our brother Mayothan as a deacon.

We pray that God will give him wisdom, humility, strength, and faithfulness as he serves Christ and His church.

“For those who have served well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Timothy 3:13

May his life and service always bring glory to Christ.

We were deeply grateful for the opportunity to spend a meaningful time with our beloved senior adults. As we worshiped, laughed, shared fellowship, and enjoyed one another's company, we were reminded that every gray hair tells a story of God's sustaining grace, every wrinkle bears witness to His unfailing faithfulness, and every life points us to the goodness of our Savior.

"They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."
— Psalm 92:14–15
