THE KEY OF DAVID.

I got this question from some of my sons in ministry.
Pastor Yinka, please what do you have to say about this issue, will you buy the keys of David for a hundred thousand Naira to open your closed doors?

MY ANSWER
Before I answer this question, I will like to lay a very solid foundation.
1. If it’s not in the Word of God, it’s not true and can never become the Word of God not withstanding who is saying what.
2. God warned in the Bible, that nobody should add or remove from the Word of God, it comes with very terrible consequences.
3. General acceptance does not validate and make anybody’s word the Word of God.

Having laid this foundation, I gave them a very scriptural answer to their question….

Firstly, I don’t need the key of David to open a door that is already set open before me.

Secondly, the key of David was never given to the church of Christ. It was prophetically given to Jesus as a symbol of authority over the house
of David.

Isiah 22:22 says, And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulders so he shall shut and none shall open.
Never in the scriptures was the key of david promised or given to the church of Christ.

The Angels of the church in Philadelphia describing Jesus in the book of Revelations 3:7 says, …. He that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the Key (singular) of David , He that openeth and no man shutteth ; and shutteth and no man openeth.

Never in this scriptures was the key of David given or delegated to anybody. What was given to us is THE KEYS Of THE KINGDOM.

Jesus said in Mattew 16:19…. And I will give unto thee the keys (plural ) of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shall bound in heaven shall be bound on earth………

There is a great difference between the key of David and the Keys of the kingdom. It is very clear in the scriptures that they are not the same key……… moreover the real key of David is only one so you can’t duplicate many copies because you want to make good sales.

Finally, the Bible says in the same book of revelation 3:8: I know thy works , behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it. For thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my Word, and has not denied my name.
Beloved , Jesus has already opened the door and you don’t need a physical key to open a spiritual door.

For the Word sake, I want to admonish everyone reading this write up that on no occasion at all should anyone under any condition be selling the Keys of David.
This attitude is completely unscriptural and abusive to the doctrine of the Word of God.
Please I beg in the Name of JESUS, let’s try and stop things that are bringing nothing but shame to the body of Christ.

Patriarches ou grands-pères.

Jésus a dit à Marie:
".... Je monte vers mon père et vers ton père, et vers mon Dieu et vers ton Dieu" Jean 20:17.
Le Père du Seigneur Jésus-Christ est le Père de Marie Madeleine, un ex-pécheur notoire.

Dieu est le père de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ et il est aussi notre père.
Dieu n'est pas notre grand-père.
Paul était le père de Philémon et également le père d’Onésime. Paul n'était pas le grand-père d'Onésime.

Il y a des patriarches de la foi dans chaque génération: mais il n'y a pas de petits-enfants spirituels parce qu'il n'y a pas de grands-pères spirituels.
Aucun être humain n'est un grand-père spirituel.
Et tous les pères ne sont pas des patriotes.

Le concept de grand-père et de petits-enfants spirituels est un africanisme et non des Ecritures.
Honorons nos pères, mais ne les idolâtrons pas.
Paul et Peter ont refusé d'être vénérés par leurs semblables. La vraie Patricia de chaque génération en fait de même.

Si Dieu prends le risque de te montrer ta vraie révélation ?
Toi aussi prends le risque de croire en cette révélation sans douter.
J'aimerais dire à quelqu'un le jour où DIEU va te visiter le ciel ne sera pas changer en rouge, il y a des bénédictions que la météo n'annonce pas.
Que DIEU vous bénisse !

Mieux vaut savoir « échouer » avec un parfum d’humilité que de « réussir » en puant l’orgueil !

Les humbles marchent toujours dans la victoire car Dieu ne leur résiste pas !
Car la réussite n’est pas liée à ta performance mais à sa présence.

Qui t'as dit que l'élévation d'un homme de Dieu commence au moment où tu découvres son ministère?
ATTENTION,comme Zachée il se peut que ce soit toi qui aies eu besoin de t'elever à la sycomore pour mieux apprécier le Jesus que Dieu avait déjà oint au milieu des hommes
