Hi just feel like contextualizing a scripture today...
1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee
2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite
(Proverbs 23:1,2)
Although scriptures above were specific about our decorum and etiquettes before authorized, let me highlight and shed light on some salient and easily-overlooked areas
The last time you were granted audience by a respectable person, what was your attitude?
The last time you were given a privilege to perform a function, did you or not overshot your time?
The last time you sat for an exam, did you or not give the examiner a 'marking scheme?'
The last time who had a public function, didn't your appearance disqualify you?
The last time you attended an interview, didn't your excesses disqualify you? THE LIST CAN GO ON
PUT A KNIFE TO THIS APPETITE AND YOU MAY STILL REGAIN YOUR CHANCES....
BLESSED WEEK
