When people start talking about making Christianity less boring, you can be certain they’ve begun their descent into profanity! God doesn’t use worldly things to “entertain” His people!

The preacher is nothing; God is everything.
The most mighty eloquence that ever distilled from the lips of seraphic preacher is nothing apart from God’s Holy Spirit. Neither Paul, nor Apollos, nor Cephas, are anything: God gave the increase and God must have all the glory.

Charles Spurgeon

DON'T PUT COMFORT OVER GOD'S CALLING.

Read these words..

"Don't take up all your time with natural things. Some of those things are legitimate and it's all right to take a certain period of time there, but see to it that you give heed, watch, listen to, pay attention unto your spirit. And you give your spirit opportunity to feed upon the Word of God, and you give your spirit opportunity to commune with the Father above, and build yourself up on your most holy faith. It doesn't take a lot of time just an hour or two out of 24. Just pay a tithe of your time unto me,” saith the Lord, “and all will be well. Your life will be changed. It will be empowered and you will be a mighty force for God.”

- Prophecy given by Kenneth E. Hagin at the Annual Prayer Seminar 1982"

Run with these words..

Many Christians seem to talk more about what the enemy is "trying to do" than what God has already finished. In fact, many Christians act like the devil is stronger than God.

It is easy to focus so much on spiritual warfare that we lose sight of the One who has already won the battle.

If you have been feeling anxious, remember this: the devil is a defeated foe, not God’s equal.

You aren't fighting for victory; you are fighting from it. God isn’t just "stronger"—He is the source of all power, and you are held securely in His hands.

Stop looking over your shoulder and start looking up.

So, If you’ve been asking "should Christians fear the devil?" or "is the devil stronger than God?", let this be your reminder: the devil can never be God’s equal.

Many Christians seem to talk more about what the enemy is "trying to do" than what God has already finished. In fact, many Christians act like the devil is stronger than God.

Effects of the Move of the Spirit

1. The lost are saved

2. Believers are stirred up to take their walk with the Lord more seriously and they have a greater awareness to live right.

3. A fresh hunger and devotion to the written Word.

4. Jesus is magnified and God is glorified. The focus is not on any man or minister or ministry or Church but rather on the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work of redemption.

5. Great manifestations and demonstrations of the Holy Spirit in signs and wonders.

6. Local Churches become stronger and more ministry gifts are raised.

7. Society is transformed and genuine progress and development come to the community

WORD OF INFLUENCE DAILY (WID)

SPEAKING WITH TONGUES

1 Corinthians 14:2
[2]For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Tongues is a gift in the spirit of every believer and language spoken by believers. In Mark 16:17
".... they shall speak with new tongues;" the "they" refers to those who believe the gospel of Jesus preached, in other words, "the believing ones". From our text, the word "speaketh" was translated from the Greek word "laleo" which is defined as a natural and regular action. It means a regular activity of speaking. Note that when words used in the translation of the scriptures are well explained and understood within context, the right meaning will be in view. Speaking with tongues is a spiritual mode of communication, and since believers are the ones who speak with tongues, who are tongues addressed to? Take note from our text, "... speaketh not unto men, but unto God..." this implies that it is not addressed to anybody in humanity, but the believer communicates with God. That is, he creates an audience with God (spiritually communicates with God). Still from our text, "... for no man understandeth him, howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries", it means the human mind can not comprehend it. Note this, "...he speaketh mysteries" "musterion" from the the Greek word which implies an undisclosed fact/that which needs to be explained. Then, it suffices say that mysteries refers to a set of facts that have not been disclosed or explained. This disclosure will be a Revelation. Therefore, speaking with tongues is an ability or aspiritual mode of communication to God by believers in Christ verbalized clearly in the spirit and is not a human language. Within the scope of the communication the believer utters Supernatural discussion initiated where in God's thoughts are exchanged with ours.

Confession :

In Christ I speak with tongues not to man but to God where in I speak mysteries.

WORD OF INFLUENCE DAILY (WID)

DEMONSTRATION OF POWER

1 Corinthians 2:4
[4]And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

From our last edition, it was established that the believer have received power, that is, in Christ the believer is clothed with power. In our text it is important to understand Paul's employed phrase "demonstration of the spirit and power. " The word 'demonstration' implies 'a showing forth', even though our study is textual, a reading of the preceding chapter will indicate that, "Christ crucified is the wisdom and power of God". Understand that the word 'and' in our text was translated from the Greek 'kai' which in this context is explanatory not a conjunction. It was not referring to two different things, rather explaining one with the other. The phrase "demonstration of the spirit and power" can therefore be better understood as "demonstration of the spirit which is power" or "demonstrations of the Spirit's power."
Therefore, "the showing forth" of the Spirit's power is through the preaching of the gospel. The proceeding verses buttress this fact by stating that "their faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."

Confession:
In Christ I can demonstrate the Spirit's power through the preaching of the gospel.
