Happy Birthday to our beloved Father in the Lord and mentor in the labour of the Gospel and a Field Marshall!

Sir, as we celebrate your special day, we remember the countless times you've risked your life to preach the Gospel in the toughest terrains of North Eastern Nigeria. Your unwavering commitment to spreading the word of Jesus Christ has left an indelible mark on our region.

From the dusty roads of Yola to the remote villages of Borno, your feet have carried the Good News, bringing hope to the hopeless and light to those in darkness. The people of North Eastern Nigeria especially Yola will never forget your sacrifices, your courage, and your love for the Lord.

You've faced danger, hardship, and uncertainty, yet you've continued to proclaim the Gospel, bearing the whole burden of the financial implications. Your perseverance and faith have inspired countless believers and drawn many to Christ.

As you celebrate another year of life, we pray that God blesses you abundantly, strengthens you, and continues to use you mightily for His glory. May your life be a testament to the power of the Gospel and a beacon of hope to those around you.

Christmas is a season when we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we celebrate this season, I'd like to bring to our remembrance the purpose of the birth of our Savior. Matthew 1:21 says, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." This boldly states the purpose of His birth: to save His people from their sins.

As we see in the passage, first, those who would be saved are His people, meaning a man must be born again. Secondly, He would save them from their sins. So if you're still struggling with any sin, this is the time to cry out for your salvation. Eating rice and killing chickens are good, but they're not the purpose of His coming.

My prayer is that the purpose of His birth would be made manifest in us all. Merry Christmas! 🎄
